Dr Who? Posted 11 May, 2012 Posted 11 May, 2012 See on the news that people are complaining about the £15 enterence fee, including the artist that designed it. Tell you what if a football team play there, that tower will be rammed with football fans for 90 minutes for a nice cheap ticket!
SNSUN Posted 11 May, 2012 Posted 11 May, 2012 We "lucky" Tube workers got driven around the Olympic village on a bus as a "treat" and I must say it is a god awful structure. A real eye sore. It's supposed to represent the Olympic rings but it doesn't. Mind you, I think Modern Art is pants, in my uncultured way.

No mate, you're just not afraid to point out that the Emporer is wearing no clothes.
LVSaint Posted 11 May, 2012 Posted 11 May, 2012 Who designed that piece of poo? Are they related to the creator of Ted Bates statue mk.1?
Mattio Posted 12 May, 2012 Posted 12 May, 2012 Looks like a rollercoaster designed by someone on LSD.
Special K Posted 14 May, 2012 Posted 14 May, 2012 Who designed that piece of poo? Are they related to the creator of Ted Bates statue mk.1? Anish Kapoor designed it. Mittall financed it (i think) which is why it's a steel structure. Would like to see it and witness the views myself. May be pleasantly suprised.
dubai_phil Posted 14 May, 2012 Posted 14 May, 2012 Looks like a rollercoaster designed by someone on LSD. Clearly the budget for the next Transformers movie got cut
