Even if you dont want to donate it's worth a look to read some of the comments from other people who have put their hand in their pocket.

Stu does my teats in, but have sponsored him anyway.

It's the charity Pap,not the individual. Although I must confess the thought of his red, sweating spade face with veins popping out at the temple and the amount of pain he'll be during and after were also reasons why I'm keen for him to do it.

I'd actually go further and say it's worth sponsoring the charity because of the individual :)

I've been looking at some longer events but can't afford them or face the sponsorship right now. The 100 mile Thames path one sounds interesting though! Definitely fancy the royal parks 50km when can afford it too.

Looked at the london to brighton one, looks quite good but very tough. I assume there's a fair few breaks and walking stages, or just stopping to recover. 100km in one run seems slightly impossible, or suicidal.

Anyone else got any events coming up? Tempted to try the Clarendon marathon, supposed to be a nice scenic hilly one.

I'm telling you, the plymouth half marathon is very good.

sccenic, hilly and the finish is brilliant...along the hoe by the huge war memorial over looking the bay.....and always a brilliant night out after.

it is really popular

He's gonna be sore by the time he reaches Brighton I reckon.

And if he isn't he'll be sore by the time he leaves.
