Yellow with a blue sash please.

or better still blue (dark blue not royal blue !) with a yellow sash

Light and dark blue version of the home kit

especially if its a reprisal of the Keegan era

Or, a long overdue return to amber and black

Fiorentina/Anderlecht violet.

Very nice I'm sure, and would make Tadanari feel at home also.

Problem though that it would clash where opponents play in red. Could however wear it at Spurs,Swansea or where the opponents play in white. Will need a third kit though (...£££££...so not altogether a bad idea)

I really liked this kit. Black worked well for an away kit and it kept a bit of red on it to show we're Saints!

Something similar for this season would be nice.

One of the worst kits we have ever had. Hated it.

For me - home R&W stripes, away yellow & blue, 3rd (not needed, but they'll have one) white with red sash.

Expect them to p*ss around with the deigns of all 3 mind.

Isn't there some stupid PL rule about all shirts having a plain back too? (ie no stripes on back of home shirt). Hate that too. Reasoning is something ridiculous like TV not being able to see the numbers correctly. Bow-locks.

One of the better yellow and blus possibilities.Definitely prefer the navy blue away as per 2009/10 to the current yellow and blue. The navy/yellow mightalso look good in a Keegan-Air Florida style.

Just hope its not a yellow shirt/ blue shirt combination. All black has been done to death now by every club in the land so time to move away from that as well.

That's a UEFA rule I believe. Sunderland at least have gone with stripped backs this season.

Yup it's a UEFA rule, Stoke have red and white stripes on the front but it's plain red on the back, as they were in the Europa League earlier this season.

I'd prefer the stripe to be pale blue. So something like the current England away shirt with a sash the same colour as the collar.

I think Leicester wore the kit you described a couple of years ago.

There's a few old shirts on here. My personal favourite is:

because dspite it being blue it was smart and went well with jeans. :-D

I also like:

for it's simplicity.

As long as it's not:

Hated the era (kit wise) but loved the White one with the red flashes. Next season is perfect for a new look zerox kit and and a blue/pale blue zerox away strip. Perfect for our return to the top league

It won't be white, it'd be too similar to the home kit. Unless we're going back to have a second and third kit.

It won't be too similar to the home kit if it's white. Umbro only usually make 2 kits for their teams, so I'm speculating we'll be using this season's yellow as a rarely used third, based on complete guesswork about what our away kit will be.

Our yellow kit is becoming our 3rd kit for the upcoming season.

The dark blue with yellow sash is very dapper.

This would explain why they didn't reduce the price of the away shirts at the end of the season.

I haven't heard anything of the sort, though I'm speculating that this could happen based on an assumption that we'll have a white away kit - most Umbro teams only have 2 shirts and some pull on a previous away kit if it's needed. Whatever happens, it has to be registered with the Premier League in advance and worn in a minimum of 6 matches. A third kit used to be compulsory when we were up there before, but it clearly isn't any more, as Norwich have only worn two kits all season and so have Swansea.

The non-reduction of kit prices is a red herring, nothing was reduced by more than 25% last year and they didn't reduce the home kit at all (the sponsorless black shirt only went down to £30) and this season's away shorts have an equally uninspiring 25% off, making them a still-non-bargain £16ish, with the rest of the kit full price. This is no different to last season, and we didn't wear either of last season's kits again.
