As we are finally back I am getting into the swing of all things premiership by reading through the Premiership all time records. Couple of interesting tables:

Saints are still 14th despite our seven year absence. Quite depressing seeing pompey amassed enough points to get themselves to 24th (they’ll forever be a blemish on the table imo).

Saints only scored 5 hat-tricks in the Prem (4 by Le Tiss). Pompey scored 6 hat-tricks in seven years! Despite our seven year absence Saints are also still top of the table for club on receiving end of hat-tricks scored against (boo!).

 

Hopefully we will put the hat-trick table right next year and move above pompey.
