My first fish

Yay, went fishing off Deal Pier this afternoon with my shiny new reel and rod.

 

Watched enviously as the lads near me kept hauling in catches hour after lonely hour until I got a call from mrs h telling me that the dinner was on. Starts packing up, reeled in, lo and behold....a fish. I'm not sure that I'd have had another go as i was up to that point quite deflated tbh but no way Jose fonte baby, Im hooked.
