Super_Uwe Posted 8 May, 2012 Posted 8 May, 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17996534 Speechless.
Colinjb Posted 8 May, 2012 Posted 8 May, 2012 Yes, just saw that too. Utterly incredible. Ok, Red is more symolic of Wales as a whole but for pities sake! Red shirts are the colours of one of their closest rivals, Bristol City. Real madness.
S-Clarke Posted 8 May, 2012 Posted 8 May, 2012 This is what happens when you have mad foreigners taking over football clubs. Look at Blackburn for another example. We're pretty lucky in that respect!
Sour Mash Posted 8 May, 2012 Posted 8 May, 2012 Won't be allowed to happen, but very, very funny nevertheless.
Colinjb Posted 8 May, 2012 Posted 8 May, 2012 Won't be allowed to happen, but very, very funny nevertheless. Almost on the same level as the guy who wanted to rebrand Mansfield Town as 'Harchester United....' almost 2 years after the TV show Dream Team ended.
The Cat Posted 8 May, 2012 Posted 8 May, 2012 Almost on the same level as the guy who wanted to rebrand Mansfield Town as 'Harchester United....' almost 2 years after the TV show Dream Team ended. Which again was almost as bad as the bloke trying to buy the golden share of Maidstone when they were going bust, planning to relocate them to the North East and renaming the team the Newcastle Browns.
S-Clarke Posted 8 May, 2012 Posted 8 May, 2012 http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10335~2764347,00.html In other words ''We've listened to what you've had to say, and we respect the history, but we're changing the brand anyway"
farawaysaint Posted 9 May, 2012 Posted 9 May, 2012 This is a hoax. Noises from the club suggest it isn't. Vincent Tan is allegedly holding them hostage, either they re-brand and take his investment or they go bust. It's almost as bad as franchise FC what's being done to Cardiff at the moment.
Window Cleaner Posted 9 May, 2012 Posted 9 May, 2012 You pays your money and takes your choice. He who pays the piper calls the tune etc etc etc. Can't see any problem myself.

How would you feel if it were to suddenly be announced we were to play in Blue as part of a re-branding exercise to better appeal to a foreign market. In fact, I recall a similar story as an April Fools on the SFC website many a year ago and there was quite the reaction from those who were fooled.
1885 Posted 11 May, 2012 Posted 11 May, 2012 According to their homepage, Cardiff City will stick with blue. Good news.
