farawaysaint Posted 7 May, 2012 Posted 7 May, 2012 Seeing as so many of us were convinced he would fail in the Championship, only to watch Rickie to shove 27 goals down the doubters throats, how many goals do you think sir Rick is good for in the premier league? I'll get the ball rolling with a hefty first season total of 15 (4 penalties.) Any advances on 15?

Would like a couple of free kicks in there too, to make up for this season.

Seems a generous price because a) We'll get off to a fast start next year (we'll fade after christmas) and b) Rooney is always sh!t for 6 months following the traditional engand sh!t fest
Saintgaz Posted 7 May, 2012 Posted 7 May, 2012 20 + goals from Rickie. Got 25/1 at start of Championship season which was nice. Might not get a many as van Persie, Rooney and Aguero next term, but will be nice to see his name on the top scoring charts alongside them!!!!

In answer to the original question, 12 goals, which would be a great return considering less games, higher standard etc.

gonzo Posted 8 May, 2012 Posted 8 May, 2012 Hard to say. Rickie is incredibly skilled, I just hope his lack of pace doesn't count against him too badly. I reckon he should be good for 15 goals next season as long as he stays fit.
