What will you miss about the Championship?

Rose tinted specs maybe, but i always felt they are both pretty keen for Saints to slip up. I'm adding in Hinchcliffe into the mix as another northerner who always favoured the oppo.

Now i think in more detail about this though - we pretty much lost most games on TV and those boys stuck the boot in, and i was always fuming about each game. The only ones we won, leeds apart, i was at anyway. Maybe i'm just a little bitter at them. No doubt that they all massively enjoyed the Boro defeat though, as it took it to a final day, cant blame that either i suppose.

On to the PL and G-Nev on a Monday night anyway - here's hoping that Rickie can provide him with the opportunity for a Torres v Barca orgasm moment next season.

I will really miss the Championship it has to be the most competative unpredictable league in the world with half the teams in it in with a good chance at promotion, it is exciting turning up match day not knowing what will happen but having a really good chance of winning & the majority of teams play good football.

League 1 will always have a place in my heart in this league we re-discovered our football club genuine fans interesting grounds I loved it & the football was better than I expected & not a plastic in sight long live league 1.

Whilst delighted we got back to the promised land of the prem & looking forward to watching us in the top flight I am not looking forward to a relegation battle

I think what I'll miss, and many people will, is following 2 leagues closely.

When we dropped into the championship, it was a blow, but quickly I found there was far more football to get excited about. I'd always follow the premier league, and of course whatever league Saints are in. Even if it's not saints playing, other fixtures have an impact so you take more notice.

I enjoyed the same with league 1, but didn't much follow the championship during that time, and didn't follow league 1 much this season. So next season, for the first time in ages, I'll be following just 1 league, probably only watching match of the day rather than the FL show or whatever replaces it. I'll follow the PL more closely than normal, but I guess there's less escape. Saints mess up, you could take solace in MOTD, ignore the FL.

Maybe I'll support a spanish team as well next season!

Good point I did that too.

Not a huge fan of Beagrie but I actually really like Goodman. Always seems to speak a lot of sense whenever I've seen him.

Peter Beagrie is a nothing player that just happened to get a punditry job at sky because he's played alot of his career in the lower leagues. He's bearable to me, but I think its laughable that he probably earns £40-50K a year for what he does, and the nondescript career he's had.

As for Goodman. Complete ****, everytime I've listened to his commentary involving us he's always heavily biased for the other team (eg. Leicester Home) and if West Ham/Reading etc. are playing then he was always biased towards them.

He's a sh it commentator and a sh it pundit. Next.
