I can't think of a single reason why the c*nt who did that deserves to live.

That's whats wrong with today's world, too many liberal do-gooder ****s looking out for scum. In a just and fair world the person responsible for that would just get a bullet in he head, f*ck rehabilitation.

No one should live 94 years to experience that.

Absolute scum.

Hanging is far too quick though, there must be a few slower more deserving death?

It's called a life sentence.

And it really is an absolutely appalling attack. I hope they catch the man/woman swiftly so justice can be done.

People have been doing terrible things to each other from the moment they stopped being apes. This is a vile act (and I hope the scum that did this get theirs) but it's not something new to the world today.

A lot of life sentences are life I thought with eligibility for parole after a given amount of time. And for the worst crimes we do have life sentences meaning life.

Sort of. The judge will recommend they serve a minimum amount of time, say 15 years before they can apply for parole. When they are released on parole they still have to report to probation and be supervised, adhere to conditions and so on for a sett period of time and even after that if there is suspicion they have broken releas conditions or reoffended they can be recalled to prison without notice. the "life" element to the sentance is life under supervision, that is not nessasarily in prison.

In serve cases though a judge can order someone to die in prison.

Cheers for clearing that up.

i am sure the great british justice system will give him 100 hours community service and a £50 fine payable over 12 months. In general sentences are too leanient. (spelling)life is life and 15 years should be just that. Not eligable for parole in 6 yrs or what ever it is. There are too many do gooders social workers wanting to give them another chance. Lock the bastards up.
