Amazing.

Couple of things to pay close attention to - how much Guly is involved, and how good the work that he does is, and also just how f*cking brilliant our pass and move football was (especially in the first half of the season).

Was just about to mention Guly! He was really good at the start of the season and it's a shame he wasn't more consistent later on.

Was also going to mention Guly! Looks great in the first few minutes of the video, heavily involved.

Nearly towards the end of the season now, and he still is heavily involved. Guess we just got so used to it that we didn't notice anymore! ;)

A couple of bad performances coupled with fans jumping on his back and chanting for De Ridder whilst Guly was still on the pitch meant his confidence was at zero for the last month at least.

just watched that...brilliant viewing

few things stood out...

we don't score hardly any from outside the box

we play very good 1-2's around the box

lambert is a monster

sharp is deadly in the area

jos scored a fair few very important goals

de ridder against reading was a very good finish

I think the most notable thing about the equaliser at Reading was Guly's assist. Absolute class, as he is through much of this video. Still can't believe how much people were getting on his back this season, easily one of our most effective players (despite being frustrating to watch at times), as this video proves.

you are right....he, like many others just went through a baron spell....I was harsh when I said he should leave after the pompey game..just frustrated how poor he played and how we let the lead slip at the end

he is wasted on the right though..which I am sure we will sort this summer

Yep, definitely better at the top of the diamond or just off the main striker, I am sure we will get a player much more suited to right midfield this summer, as you say.

I hate when people do that. I watched guly with my own eyes and never jumped on his back as you claim. From December onwards his performance dropped noticeably. He gave the ball away much too cheaply at times and I don't think he is up to premiership standard. I clapped him when he did well and mostly stayed silent when he did poorly save to express my frustration on occasion.

Guly is good enough for the Premiership, mark my words.
