Saint_clark Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 (edited) Amazing. Couple of things to pay close attention to - how much Guly is involved, and how good the work that he does is, and also just how f*cking brilliant our pass and move football was (especially in the first half of the season). Saint Matty 76 Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Completely forgot about that Schneiderlin pass at around 1:59, amazing.

Was just about to mention Guly! He was really good at the start of the season and it's a shame he wasn't more consistent later on.

Colbury Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 The weight of Corks ball for Guly vs Millwall. Pure class.
Saint_clark Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Was also going to mention Guly! Looks great in the first few minutes of the video, heavily involved. Nearly towards the end of the season now, and he still is heavily involved. Guess we just got so used to it that we didn't notice anymore! Was just about to mention Guly! He was really good at the start of the season and it's a shame he wasn't more consistent later on. A couple of bad performances coupled with fans jumping on his back and chanting for De Ridder whilst Guly was still on the pitch meant his confidence was at zero for the last month at least.
bognor regis pete Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 What a team some amazing goals thanks Johnnyboy
Thedelldays Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 just watched that...brilliant viewing few things stood out... we don't score hardly any from outside the box we play very good 1-2's around the box lambert is a monster sharp is deadly in the area jos scored a fair few very important goals de ridder against reading was a very good finish
Turkish Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 good work Johnny. My god we scored some crackers didnt we.
Saint_clark Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 I'd argue no, it's not. There's a mute button for people like you, there isn't an "add music" button for people like me
Jack Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Loads of games/goals missing in that, but thanks anyway, some great football, especially before xmas.
latter day saint Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 top job fella ! my god we scored some cracking goals this season

Absolute class, as he is through much of this video. Still can't believe how much people were getting on his back this season, easily one of our most effective players (despite being frustrating to watch at times), as this video proves.

Saint_lambden Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 The whole of March appears to be missing but it's still a good video.

johnnyboy Posted 3 May, 2012 Author Posted 3 May, 2012 for what its worth, it's not my video ,spotted this on twitter and thought I'd share with y'all
Colbury Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 The whole of March appears to be missing but it's still a good video. Yeah I did think to myself when watching, that Pompey home was definitely not after Watford away
gandalf Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Many thanks for that. I forgot how many Connolly got early on. Great to see how much Guly was involved.
shurlock Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Indeed, not all Gulys goals/contributions are on here - his brace against Palace on Boxing Day being a good example.
S-Clarke Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Great video, shows how well we played last year. Some of our football was amazing. You forget some of the goals, but Corks pass through to Guly for the goal against Millwall was majestic.
S-Clarke Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Indeed, not all Gulys goals/contributions are on here - his brace against Palace on Boxing Day being a good example. It's missing both West Ham games too. and the Skate away game
syd_barrett_saint Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 It's missing both West Ham games too. and the Skate away game I'm pretty sure it has Jos's goal at home to West Ham. But there are certainly a fair few games missing. Would love to see a comprehensive one, but a great collection all the same.
This Charming Man Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Great video. Morgan's ball for Lallana's goal at Ipswich still makes me hard.
S-Clarke Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Great video. Morgan's ball for Lallana's goal at Ipswich still makes me hard. Iniesta Class.

I hate when people do that. I watched guly with my own eyes and never jumped on his back as you claim. From December onwards his performance dropped noticeably. He gave the ball away much too cheaply at times and I don't think he is up to premiership standard. I clapped him when he did well and mostly stayed silent when he did poorly save to express my frustration on occasion.
The Cat Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 (edited) This could be better. Only part 1 up so far but it has all the goals, even cup games and the oppositions from August - October. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfZMwxCyo94&feature=related Edited 3 May, 2012 by The Cat

hypochondriac Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 Guly is good enough for the Premiership, mark my words. In your opinion but I'm not sure he is. I would prefer us to buy a decent winger and I imagine guly will be on the bench at best.
southamptonfclegend Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 does what it says on the tin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLvn2xYNVrA&feature=youtu.be enjoy well it doesn't do what it says on the tin as there is not 'EVERY goal' is there?
S-Clarke Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 well it doesn't do what it says on the tin as there is not 'EVERY goal' is there? It's missing a couple, big deal. For one I appreciate the time and effort that was put into it...
Lazlo78 Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 This could be better. Only part 1 up so far but it has all the goals, even cup games and the oppositions from August - October. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfZMwxCyo94&feature=related This is GREAT! Looking forward to the next installments
saintscottofthenortham Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 Both links give me 'could not load movie' on my iPhone...???
Special K Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 does what it says on the tin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLvn2xYNVrA&feature=youtu.be enjoy Magic! Thanks for that fella.
brightspark Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 Very nice, some great goals. Schneiderlin's dink at Ipswich was unreal. Shame there was none of Guly's goals from our Boxing Day win over Palace as it was the only game I got to go to this season!!! Thanks
niceandfriendly Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 Fantastic video, loved watching that. Oh and what a player Guly is.
toofarnorth Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 First goal of the season was the best of the season for me. Shows what great football we've played at times this year.
Dan Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 Skates and Leeds away games not on there. Still good video though...
Saint Garrett Posted 4 May, 2012 Posted 4 May, 2012 The first part of that made me realise how good and effective Connolly was in the side. Him, Lambert, Guly and Lallana linked up unbelievably at the start of the season. AWESOME
