Last home and away games winnable...Teams like Norwich/Swansea/Bolton/Everton/Sunderland/Fulham. (whoever just stays up this season). So when we need a win to get in the Champions league, theyre easier games.

First game I'd love to be against someone really hard. Man City/Chelsea/Spurs/Arsenal/Man Utd/Newcastle so our players realise how tough its going to be, and also if we haven't strengthened properly before then, it gives us a look to see where we are and where we really need to strengthen. Also I want to play against the best.

I'd like the first game to be home to Tottenham. Almost guaranteed to be on TV. Another 3-1 first day victory to set the ball rolling again...

Wishful thinking. They were very average at Bolton last night and swept them aside without even breaking a sweat. It's scary how much some teams have progressed since we departed the Premiership. Them, Everton, Sunderland and obviously Man Citeh are a totally different class to what they were when we were last in the big time.

this is true.....there are more better teams in the prem...however, the bottom 8 or so are just as bad

We'll find out !!

Sunderland really have spent a lot of money in though, and brought in players with PACE. Something that we really dont have.

if we can add a touch of pace and power that are up to the job...then we should be able to stay up

just watching the games the last few days, the prem is played at a pace (most games) that is way ahead of the NPC

Far be it from me to say that the fixtures list is 'fixed' but one of the promoted clubs always seems to get one of the big boys first game up. So I will say Man U at home.

Its just probability. With three promoted teams and say 4 big boys its a 60% probability that one of the promoted teams will get one of the four.

Think people are getting carried away having seen Swansea and Norwich do well, it is still a massive jump up from the Championship.

Away to Liverpool...Ricky on fire to be there, us an unknown quantity with the momentum of promotion....a big and football-appreciating crowd plus our record there over the years is pretty good.

Then a couple of home games - Reading and Man City..in that order please!

Spurs home or away. Demand for front row near dugout seats at an all time high to bully scrotum faced Redkrapp. Banter fest. Roll them over 2-0, tidy. Im dreaming of course, but that said I never thought we'd go up this season gone!

Home first day, home final day, home during Easter and home over Xmas. The ideal fixture list, and we've had that for the last 2 seasons pretty much!

Think 08/09 is the only season where our last scheduled game of the season has been away whilst outside the prem.

Yep, away at Forest. Oddly that was a great away day. I think we all want into it thinking it might be our last ever match, so we just enjoyed it! We didn't play too badly either..

That was a great day at Forest, remember all the Forest fans clapping us as we just sung all game despite going down. And everyone jumping up and down to the goal music even when they scored. It's certainly been nice starting and finishing at Home in the last few season. And also having a few games over Christmas and Easter at home.

Home game first, and would like it to be home to someone like, Sunderland, Vila, Everton, Fulham, as far as I am concerned the games we need to be winning at home. Reading would be a good one, so we can beat them, now we have got rid of our home first game jinks!

Would like to finish the season at home, just in case we need a win..... it would make it much easier, and again to a mid table side with nothing to play for.

I would alos like a hat-trick of 2nd place finishes please Saints!

Absolutely wishful thinking, to beat any top 6 team will be a massive achievement. My thinking is we'll have momentum, the buzz of being newly promoted, Spurs are not renowned for their quick starts to the season. Be nice to welcome baggy saggy face to SMS and send him packing with his tail between his legs. Thats my perfect start to the season
