Wes Tender Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 That first video inferred that it was the 6-3 game where United wore the grey shirts, whereas it was the 3-1 victory. As the 6-3 match showed, United wore the blue stripes throughout.

Pilchards Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 Funny how you saw the replays of all the United goals and nothing for the 6 Saints goals. Makes me sick to be back in the Premiership.

Pilchards Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 Haven't seen the 6-3 highlights in quite a while. Forgot how good Berkovic's 2nd was. Deserved a replay several times unlike the last united goals that they showed over and over again.
Chez Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 is that Ken Monkou in the (Everton thrashing) keeping everyone onside. Why was he rated so highly by fans?

Thedelldays Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 He's just become a bit of a cult figure over time. I was near him in the saints end at White Heart Lane on the last game of the season 1997/1998 when we were all singing about MLT going to France....he already knew he was not by then
Dr Who? Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 This is a bit of what it is about, but over the last few years, it has been more about following Saints and getting them back to where they are. As many have said I pay to watch Saints not the oppo, but yes it is extra sweet when we beat one of the 'big boys'.
Pat from Poole Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 is that Ken Monkou in the (Everton thrashing) keeping everyone onside. Why was he rated so highly by fans? He was on the whole a really good centre-back. He did have the odd bad game, but when he was good he was an absolute rock. Branfoot's best signing by a million miles. Paul75 Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 [video=youtube;n6J-4RIRsms] What would of happened to Cantona if his attempted tackle on 10second would of connected?
SNSUN Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 1) That was definitely a goal for Ostenstadt. (His third). Fecking dubious goals panel. 2) Berkovic was class. When I first started playing football at school, I was told not to lean back when shooting. He did, and it still fizzes into the net. 3) Scholes and Beckham could still DAJFU. 4) That's my favourite Le Tissier goal of all time. Beautifully executed, and he celebrated in a manner similar to Cantona when he scored THAT goal. (Which was very similar.) 5) I made my mum tape MOTD that night, then bugged my parents all day on the Sunday when I watched it on a loop.
Saint Stimp Posted 2 May, 2012 Share Posted 2 May, 2012 Le Tiss never ceases to amaze me. Hadn't seen the goal vs the grey shirts since he scored it - that touch over Schemichal - literally as cool and casual as it gets. Incredible.
