Why record in that god awful aspect ratio?

why not download using keepvid then play in vlc media player changing the aspect ratio instead of moaning about my effort.

Brilliant thanks on behalf of all us ex pats for doing that.

Hmm the bottle of Bubbly in the Changing room.

there can't possibly be a story behind that surely?

Because that would be stretching the original video as your upload to youtube cannot be changed. Better just to take it direct from BBC iPLayer at 16:9

Can you download to video file from iPlayer? The reason why it's 4:3 not 16:9 is because I streamed it to my DVD/HD recorder from my Virgin Media box and from this converted it into a avi file and then onto youtube. That DVD/HD recorder is 6 years old and only inputs at 4:3.

Just spent 30 minutes downloading a free Youtube converter and then youtuber to AVI file converter just for this video as Keepvid isn't available for Mac

It's well worth the time and effort :)

 Bialkowski poking his head out the door when Fontes being interviewed...
Yeah made me chuckle that.

Fair play to the BBC for their coverage on the overall game and then all the stuff done on the football elague show, great stuff.

Can't you just use an online converter instead. Seems like a lot if hassle doing that way.

Exactly. keepvid.com offers you a client you can download youtube clips with but it converts online too as long as you've got Java installed/

You need to register for this site but the full program is available via bit torrent here:

They also have the full MOTD Live game as well. If you don't have a bit torrent client, I recommend uTorrent. The torrents will come down around the first week of June, so there's plenty of time to get them both :)
