Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 There's obviously going to be a bit of a clear out this summer. Who do people think will go? There's obvious ones like Jaidi and Holmes, but who else? Connelly, Puncheon, Harding, Butterfield, Dickson?

Dig Dig Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 A side from the obvious (and I think we can include Connolly) I think we could see Chaplow, De Ridder, Harding, one of Butters and Richardson, Seabourne and Barnard all leaving. Not sure about Puncheon, despite everything I think Adkins putting him on the last 10 mins on Sat quite telling. Would like to see Forecast released as I don't want to see his useless fat head in the celebration pictures when we win the FA cup next year ; )
Dellman Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 No one will want to go because NC and NA have obviously made a secure and successful environment to be in. So it may not be as easy as it sounds but the squad could easily get too big, so something has got to give

Could see a few out on loan rather than sold I guess.

Dig Dig Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 He's done absolutely f\/ck all but that doesn't stop him from lauding it up in the post promotion celebration pics from this year and last.
LVSaint Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 He's done absolutely f\/ck all but that doesn't stop him from lauding it up in the post promotion celebration pics from this year and last. I've also been trying to search for why Forecast has been placed on the recent ****list.
Golden Balls Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 (edited) I've also been trying to search for why Forecast has been placed on the recent ****list. I think it may have something to do with his ego when he is out and about in town Placing himself front centre in promotion celebrations this year and last without even getting a minute of bench time Punching a female in town Telling a couple of kids to 'f*** off' during a pre season friendly against Eastleigh Being paid a stupid wage for nothing Continuously breaking the law when behind the wheel Generally being absolutely useless and having the feeling of 'Lowe' about his signing made worse that apparently it cost us a sell on fee for Bale I've had a lot of first hand experience of his company, he's a toss pot! scotty Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 I've had a lot of first hand experience of his company, he's a toss pot! Did he catch anything while he was out with you? If so, thats a first.
Golden Balls Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 I would expect to see Holmes, Connolly, Harding, Barnard, Dickson and Forte to all go. I think Jaidi will retire and take up a coaching role Forecast to be loaned out to yet another non league side where he'll yet again stuggle to make an impression.
Golden Balls Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 Did he catch anything while he was out with you? If so, thats a first. He didn't. However his punch was very flappy. To be expected I guess.

Lighthouse Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 I'd expect our 25 man senior squad to look a bit like: Davis, Bart, New GK Richardson, Butters, Martin, Fonte, Hooiveld, Seaborne, Fox, New CB and LB Chaplow, Lallana, Cork, Hammond, Morgan, De Ridder, New winger, New CM Lambert, Sharp, Guly, Lee, New striker Not what I'd do personally, but it's roughly what I'd expect. I can see us trying to offload the rest, even if only on loan.
Saintjersey Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 I've heard that Forecast is to be offered a contract extension for being a right 'lad'. He keeps the morale of the team up, as shown by his recent celebrations.

It's only taken 18 posts for someone to actually commit to what they think instead of straying off topic or saying that it's too early to talk about this. The season's over and players will be leaving so why can't it be discussed? I totally agree with your list of additions. I think we'll see Holmes, Forte, Dickson, Butterfield, Jaidi, Barnard all go with the likes of Puncheon, Seabourne, Harding, Bart and Hammond a possibility. The one fairly regular player in the current squad that I don't see being up to life in the Prem is Hammond.
BlakeySFC Posted 1 May, 2012 Posted 1 May, 2012 Barnard, Harding, Chaplow/Hammond (perhaps both), Connolly, Jaidi, Bialkovski, Forecast, Forte and Dickson Are all my guesses
Saints67 Posted 2 May, 2012 Posted 2 May, 2012 My thoughts.....Holmes, Forte, Dickson & Forecast to exit. Jaidi & Connolly to retire. Seabourne & Harding out on loan. New second choice keeper, new LB and CB to come in.

Even in the Championship all our moves seem to break down when someone sprays the ball out to him.
thorpie the sinner Posted 2 May, 2012 Posted 2 May, 2012 Dont rate Hammond but think he deserves a chance on bench plus he only signed a new contract recently!
beatlesaint Posted 2 May, 2012 Posted 2 May, 2012 For me Chaplow's gotta go too. He just doesn't have the close control. Even in the Championship all our moves seem to break down when someone sprays the ball out to him. He is the only midfield player we have who makes regular attacking runs into the box or out wide. He will not be leaving, and niether should he.
stu0x Posted 2 May, 2012 Posted 2 May, 2012 It will depend entirely on what deals we manage to do. People seem to forget that moving a player on is much harder than just telling them to clear out their locker. You don't want to **** a player off, as he is then less likely to be amenable to a move away, and you are less likely to find a club that wants him. So anyone still in contract is probably more likely than not to be here next season. I would expect most of the names listed to go out on loan, if at all.
Shroppie Posted 2 May, 2012 Posted 2 May, 2012 I think we'll see Holmes, Forte, Dickson, Butterfield, Jaidi, Barnard all go with the likes of Puncheon, Seabourne, Harding, Bart and Hammond a possibility. Did you miss that these signed new contracts not long ago?
