Yep. In the last week on club photographers' twitter.

"I should have known playing subbuteo with joey Barton was a bad idea but as he was in reception I thought what harm img.ly/iEb2"

And

"In my early days of photography choosing not to go down the route of glamour photography has really paid off img.ly/izrL"

Oh and also this photo

I can guarantee you these images are nothing to do with a new kit launch.

Sorry to spoil the fun.

The same reason why people feel the need to ask about it on a football web forum I guess...

Fair enough comment. I just dont get the facebook thing though, its one thing chatting about something specific, like a football club, but opening up your whole life online is something else altogether. I genuinely dont understand it.

Why the hell does anybody do that? Ever? I have never understood this phenomenon.

It's the pictures of plates of food that irritate me the most. Usually accompanied by "nom, nom, nom" as a comment. Why the f*ck does anyone care what you have for dinner FFS.

I had venison casserole for dinner in Scotland last night, but I neglected to take pictures. Sorry.

I'll do you a deal. You explain the meaning of liife to me and I'll explain something as important as Facebook

Thats cool?!?

I thought people wear them (me included) as you are proud of them and you want to spot other fans so you can turn to your girlfriend and say 'another Sad **** over there.'

Your girlfriend doesn't care. she's too busy looking at the smart, tanned well dressed and toned chaps around the pool/beach/bar . Holidays on emphasis to here how bad it has got as she looks the fat, scruffy, sunburnt mess alongside her who is busy looking for other blokes wearing football shirts.

I do realise this was possibly to do with the fashion show at St marys the other day, but they just happened to have an air florida shirt close to hand ;)

Thinking of going to Italy around September time, where would you recommend? (Appreciate this isn't kit talk) My Bro went to Lake Como a couple of years back and said it was great.

Alternative is Switzerland, after seeing the photos of pre-season last year. Looks B E A Utiful.

Depends what you want mate but the Amalfi coast is my personal favourite area. Got a bit of everything. You've got the old ruins of Pompei and Herkulanium, which are really interesting to visit. do a trip up Vesuvius, do the bus trip down the coast to Positano, home of the rich and famous, beautiful little place, google it. Apparantly George Clooney has a house there. Get the boat across the Capri which is fantastic. The other way you've got Naples which is an interesting place. Sorrento is a nice town to base yourself in, lots of good bars, restaurants and shops and good and cheap public transport to all the places i mention.

We're off to the Venice area in September, not been there before.

Sounds awesome. Will research those places and put something together. Cheers

Cheers. Although the cynic in me suggests that he would be duty bound to deny it even if there was a connection....

You can do both at the same time if you have a car... Lake Como is about an hour's drive south of the Swiss mountains. We did a road trip last year from here through France, Switzerland, over the San Bernardino Pass and then stayed in Bellagio on Lake Como.

That sounds awesome, cheers. My folks live near perpignan in south of france, so would be a great starting point for a similar trip.

No connection, it is not the kit. I have seen the new home kit and have posted some bits elsewhere. Obviously I am not going to go down the same route as the Norwich fan and post any pictures or anything too specific online.

Cheers. Just looked back at the hint you dropped before. Liking the suggestion that it's completely different to any previous kit.... :-)

I've heard a rumour that it's going to be similar to an old favourite. Can only assume they mean the Rank Xerox / Air Florida shirt from the early 80's?

Nope. And it's not similar to any old favourites, if my source is correct.

Just for the record, Sunderland have just announced they're moving to adidas with immediate effect - no Umbro teams in red and white stripes in the Prem next season, unless I've forgotten someone.

Not red and white stripes then........

Come on, do some mock ups, I know you're dying to.

I have moved on, not least cos my laptop flatlined about 11 months ago. White and red stripes? People spent ages arguing about that last season. :D

Shame it didn't flatline a month earlier and we wouldn't had to have out up with last seasons ones.
