I was thinking of taking my boy who is only 9 but I'm not sure how well he'll cope with a black tie do and a 4 course dinner! Don't suppose they're offering a children's menu! Anyone been before. If so were there any kids there?

As someone else said there will be a few folks entertaining clients you could join in the conversation but he would be pretty lonely

Lord M very boring even people talking through it. Graham poll in contrast was superb!! Players all enjoying a drink, according to one sat with us vegas is now cancelled, and swiss tour is upcoming, although japan was muted. Got to have a jagerbomb with billy sharp who is brilliant and had the pleasure of a photo with a very hyper/drunk jack cork. All in all a top night, if youve never been well worth every penny !!

Why would their Vegas trip be cancelled? Who told you that? Also Adkins has already said that pre-season plans are confirmed, so I'm not sure where the speculation on location is from. Unless all the above is just from drunken chats and rumours amongst fans.

The player who was on our table told me that things seemed to have gone very quiet about the Vegas trip, he is not sure they are still going. Have to agree with the above poster ref the speakers, Graham Poll was fantastic

Sat with James Ward Prowse, Jack Stephens and Ryan Doble, very interesting talking with them and how the club looks after these young lads. All the players were fantastic. Nigel Adkins is a wonderful bloke, spent time with everyone who wanted to chat. Worth every penny. Graham Poll was the best speaker, extremely funny especially his explanation of why he didnt send of the Croatian for 2 yellows in the World Cup.

It was ironic that he was saying all these great things about our club and yet he was such an arse hole when we were in admin. I couldnt help myself with a few heckles from the back, i was bit drunk and upset some people on the next table who were annoyed with a the few comments i put out, but I think Morgan saw my point of view! Top quality man was Morgan, even if i did keep going on about him and Arsenal. Did not realise he was offered a 6 year contract with Chelsea before coming to us. It was also interesting to get his take on that tackle in the Portsmouth game, he was well hyped up for it but I still blame Guly, as I told him and then found out that him are Guly are best buddies!! Had a chat with Nigel in the toilets and he said we'd win the league next year, happy days to come!
kpturner Posted 5 May, 2012 Posted 5 May, 2012 How does one get into this event?You phone up the club and buy a ticket (or somebody else buys one for you). £150+VAT for a ticket for a table with a player and £125+VAT for a table without a player.....or thereabouts. The prices next year will probably be different.
