Legod Third Coming Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I'll start. Miss Clem on the Football League Show - a bloke who has made it his job to know everone in the lower leagues, is honest, has a brilliant intervew style and can bring grown men to tears (including yours truly). Not Looking Forward To Conceding from a Delap long throw...

Dalek2003 Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Miss - Proper football fans who support their local team. Not looking forward to - Premier League rip off prices. Yes, both the NPC and League 1 has 'real' fans and stadiums with real character. Matt LeTissier has got a great article in the Sunday Times today in which he makes the point that there are thousands of dedicated fans outside the premiership who are dedicated to their teams. Always respect the fans of the likes of Posh, Colchester, Oldham etc.
paulwantsapint Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Looking forward to watching MLT on sat afternoons Going to miss away days in the back of beyond
ladysaint Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Not looking forward to arrogant Newcastle fans. Miss being in the top 2.
Kingsland Red Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Miss - Proper football supporters passionate about their team , like the Cov guys I walked to the ground with yesterday chewing the fat about Saints, SISU etc. Not looking forward to- the analysis paralysis of the media vultures/pundits/'experts'(WGS and MLT excepted) from Sky, Talksport and the BBC who manage to distort the facts for their own benefit.
Norm Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Miss, paying £25 for grandson and I to go to games. Looking forward to, the concourse selling Balti Chicken pies! Not looking forward to, JCL's taking my seats. oh and seeing Sir Alex/Arsene getting angry at the after match interview about poor Refereing decisions.
Kingsland Red Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Oh I forgot - looking forward to getting to bed an hour earlier on a Saturday night rather than waiting for Manish and Clem.

PaulGilchrist_76 Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Miss - winning away from home so much Not looking forward to - stupid kick off times and refs giving everything to the big clubs
egreog Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Miss- the competitiveness and unpredictability of the Championship, surely the best "lower" league in the world with attendances that most European top leagues can only dream of. Not looking forward to-seeing the new fixture list and wondering where the points are going to come from!
L1Minus10 Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Will miss players staying on their feet (in the main), winning in the main, being first on football league show Not looking forward to our own negative fans when we lose a few, Prem prices, big teams getting every decision going

What a fantastic sentiment - I hope we ALL remember that. Ambition is great. We need it. Life needs it. But we should never forget that 'how' is as important as 'what' we aspire to...
ThreeSixty Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Will miss finding out you have Saturday free popping down the ground and getting a ticket on the day.

Ken Tone Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Will miss games on Saturdays. Man u went from the start of the season till after Christmas before they had a home game on a Saturday. Shouldn't be that bad for us, but even so .......

Legod Third Coming Posted 29 April, 2012 Author Posted 29 April, 2012 Will miss games on Saturdays. Man u went from the start of the season till after Christmas before they had a home game on a Saturday. Shouldn't be that bad for us, but even so ....... Not quite that bad - 1st October and 5th November they played at home on a Saturday - but the point is a good one. To be fair, we won't be in the Champion's League until the following season so needn't worry!
Danish Saint Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Will miss being in the running for the title next year.... Looking forward to Mr. Cortese's plan for the Premier Leauge. He was talking about bringing Champions Leauge football to the South Coast on a regular basis....
S-Clarke Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Will miss games on Saturdays. Man u went from the start of the season till after Christmas before they had a home game on a Saturday. Shouldn't be that bad for us, but even so ....... We'll probably play more games @ 3pm on Saturday next year, than we did this year.
Thedelldays Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I won't miss mark bright analysing our games...dear god will we still have saintsplayer...? for the exiles.....at least nearly all of our games will be available online
Ohio Saint Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I'll miss winning, but Mrs Ohio will enjoy not every single game being crucial. She will get more Saturdays with me.
S-Clarke Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I won't miss mark bright analysing our games...dear god will we still have saintsplayer...? for the exiles.....at least nearly all of our games will be available online I think we'll have a brand new website this year, Cortese made a comment a while back that he doesn't like our website but we're bound to it due to a football league contract, but if we get promoted we would changed to our own in-house website. With the new ticketing site this kind of links in nicely.... There will be a stream for every game next year, some easier to find than others I'd imagine.
