Dr Who? Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 So when do we expect season tickets to go on sale? I think we should strike while the iron is hot. What sort of prices were they in the chapel this season, and what do you think they will be for the premier league? Want to get one, so I can get away tickets, and go to some home games, but really need tobe able to give to friends and family when I cannot go.
Dr Who? Posted 29 April, 2012 Author Posted 29 April, 2012 I had my season ticket in the northern from 2001 - 2005 (relegation) but for the life of me I cannot remember the cost! Need a season ticket again as it will be very hard to get away tickets. Need to work out how I can buy one but share with friends and family.
Eastcowzer Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Morning, Doc, If my memory holds together I believe that the Itchen wing blocks were £560 in the 2005 season mind , that was for the long-forgotten Early Bird (i.e. by the club), days.
itchen_dan Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Was on the big screens yesterday Renewals - 6th June Relocate seat - 18th June New season tickets - 2nd July
beatlesaint Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 According to my old man (not always totally reliable ) he reckoned it came up on the big screens that season tickets would be on sale from 6 June. and as you can see Itchen Dan beat me to it by 10 seconds
Toomer Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 At a guess I think lowest price adult renewal will be about £475.00.
RobM Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I really hope Saints do something to reward the longer-term ST holders. Even just a price-freeze for those who have held L1 and NPC ST's would be a nice gesture of thanks for the ongoing support.

Faz Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I predict the price will be more expensive than Man Utd, but less than Chelsea. And there will be several threads about the fairness or otherwise of Prices. Schemes/discounts, allocation, moving seats, inadequacies of the ticket office.
Saint Mikey Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I really hope Saints do something to reward the longer-term ST holders. Even just a price-freeze for those who have held L1 and NPC ST's would be a nice gesture of thanks for the ongoing support. Why? You paid for entertainment and definitely got value for money. The sooner people accept that football is a business with zero sentiment the better - as it has been like that for years and isn't about to change. Also let me ask you these questions: 1) Is there a precedence for this, i.e. has another club ever introduced such a scheme? 2) How do you work out the criteria? Is it fans who had ST's in both years in Lge 1 & C'ship? What about just one year in Lge 1, or just the C'ship? Starts getting complicated... I've had an ST for the last 3 seasons, so would qualify. However, it isn't going to happen, nor should it. The club is a business and I bet the same fans demanding 'loyalty reward' will also want the club to splash out on new players - the two don't add up.
Sour Mash Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Was on the big screens yesterday Renewals - 6th June Relocate seat - 18th June New season tickets - 2nd July Cheers for that, very useful knowing the relevant dates.

You can't even remember the name of the stand let alone the price of the season ticket!
teamsaint Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Perhaps not unrealistic for us to ask them to do that for one season. I wouldn't hold your breath...they hiked them this year..............
SNOWY Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 (edited) I have a season ticket in the Itchen centre and I'm expecting to pay around £700 this year. Edited 30 April, 2012 by SNOWY
Ziggy Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I got stung last year as my lad became 16 so hoping the increase won't be as bad next season. Having had the same seats for 11 seasons though I am an easy target as I will renew whatever the cost.
saintrich Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Will probably try and re-locate to Itchen north.
Gemmel Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Prediction on cost? 690 Renewals and two free flares
itchen_dan Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Will probably try and re-locate to Itchen north. Will be worth the move if you do!
Royston Saint Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I'm in bassingbourn and will be getting one if not two again and I won't be able to go to every game

saint-crinny Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 As fans, we would love to think that the renewals are rewarded with a prize freeze or whatever, but Cortese is all about the business so he 100% wouldnt do that. No complaints from me though - i've had a great time over the past three seasons in L1 and the Championship and not many of us were complaining when Cortese showed his business talents to get ludicrous money for Oxo, refused to pay silly money on wages etc
