Danish Saint Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Fantastic season! Fantastic team!! I wanted us to win the title, as we had been nr. 1 almost all season, but happy as the proverbial pig in sh*t. Today - hangovers - and how to get rid of them... Any ideas?

Kingsbridge Saint Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Back to bed and sleep it off. When you wake up you realise it wasn't a dream and we are promoted. Repeat until hangover fades. Got up finally at 5pm - 8am UK time, seemed appropriate!
Saintjersey Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Feeling bad, came home at the early hour of 2 A.M, but then decided to watch saints videos and carried on drinking till 6 A.M.

ooh it's a corner Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 how many pints of squash/juice/fizzy pop do you have to drink before the headache goes away?
Saint Fan CaM Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 After necking some at the pub, then some at home while watching the game again, I woke up on the sofa feeling sick at 1.30pm - Mrs' gone to bed - so I watched League Show highlights before drinking lots of water. Pizza leftovers and a nice mug of tea this morning after getting up at 11.00am. And I feel reasonably OK.
The Cat Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Just about feel ok now. Going to the gym in a minute, hoping I don't throw up.
Monk Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Had a few in Cargo then had to attend a comedy festival in Bognor, then went to Portsmouth, never gloated so much in my life.
suewhistle Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Only got up at 2pm my time, so having my first mug of tea and I didn't power down the PC last night so here I am. No headache, just euphorically tired and thank goodness in spades my footie team have a rest day..
ooh it's a corner Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 given up with the hangover, gone for the hairy dog with a tin of old speckled hen. quality. feel better already
Huffton Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Unfortunately my fry up made a re-appearance about half an hour after it was eaten. Went back to bed for a couple of hours, got up, big mug ot tea, roast dinner, and all was once again well with the world. Currently on my second beer, with half a bottle of Jack waiting for me. I 'kin love promotions!
pap Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Drove down to Southampton after the win to have some beers with some Saints supporting mates. Did a couple of bars in Portswood, and after being advised by the taxi driver that town was absolutely rammed, bought a copious amount of carry out and went back to my old dears. Chatted crap until 4AM in the morning. Back in Liverpool at 4PM today. Surviving.
Saint-scooby Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Spending my winnings today at the pub "landlord a west ham fan" seemed to clear my head, but feel an early night tonight will ease a 5am alarm call !!
Saint_Jonny Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 I'm just waiting to go to bed. Last night was massive!
dubai_phil Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Would have been fine but the Asia Curry kicked in perfectly at around 8am, JUST made it to the bathroom. Then stoked up on shampers in the Lounge & on the flight home and managed to wake up with ANOTHER hangover over Turkey - argh. Now working on my 3rd one of the day
jasonb Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Felt a bit rough this morning having gone to bed about 3am I think... Had some champagne which I hate mixed with Ringwood ales... managed to make it into work but didn't do a lot... roast tea seemed to help things along and I ought to get to bed but working on stuff at home so no rest for the wicked!
Saint Garrett Posted 29 April, 2012 Posted 29 April, 2012 Felt absolutely horrendous all day, and have been sick multiple times. Just about back to feeling normal now, but it was so worth it. Still not sunk in.
Cascadia Saint Posted 30 April, 2012 Posted 30 April, 2012 Just about to cook a giant roast dinner. Kill or Cure!!
Danish Saint Posted 30 April, 2012 Author Posted 30 April, 2012 Grilled spare ribs and "Generation Kill", with Aspirin and cola on the side... worked a treat!
