He ended up in the Bundesliga with FC Koln and by all accounts did ok. We all love a YouTube clip so I dug this one out- he made some decent tackles, looked confident on the ball and made sone outstanding cross-field passes.. Maybe we should have ceded to his wage demands? In fact I can't remember now why the move fell through...

A good left peg with pace and a good reading of the game as per the old sweeper. Tackles are generally good but not a dominant centre half type ..winning headers.. Would he have been good for the mighty Saints?.....Will we ever find out?
