Saint-Reece Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 He spouts the biggest amount of crap ever, so far Elia, Krasic, Zaha, Clyne, even Del Piero have all been 'possibly joining West Ham' from the Moose

Crazy Diamond Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 Moose is a c*nt This. He's also a massive liar.
Bearsy Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/7858948/Buttner-favours-Saints-switch "And Southampton have big ambitions. With the new investor they want the same as Manchester City." lol - who told him that!
Bearsy Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 Oh there's a whole MLG thread bout it, my bad. I spose it's not that bad, I mean it's not exactly lies. I want the same as Russell Brand to knob Katy Perry but in my case could happen!

Crazy Diamond Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 Your more likely to end up with Jo Brand though Do you know nothing? Mr. Bearsy has had a threesome. There was a whole thread on it. Though I suppose they could both have been munters.
PhilippineSaint Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 Do you know nothing? Mr. Bearsy has had a threesome. There was a whole thread on it. Though I suppose they could both have been munters. Has he two fingers missing then ?

Sweet of you to big me up but i don't want to mislead anyone general concencus was i had two twosomes. Raging Bull Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 That is technically known as a Tag Team. Yeah that wasn't a proper threesome!
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 (edited) Clear Adkins wants more Butt in the side. If we sign Buttner & Butland to go with Butterfield would make this clear. Expect further interest in Jacob Butterfield, Hans-Jorg Butt to challenge KD as GK & Nicky Butt to join as a coach soon. Edited 2 July, 2012 by Ivan Katalinic's 'tache
Saint J 77 Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/7858948/Buttner-favours-Saints-switch He looks a bit crazy in that photo on the sky sports news story.
Saint J 77 Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 Chelsea to bid for Luke Shaw.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2167860/Chelsea-set-bid-4m-Southamptons-Luke-Shaw.html Surely Cortese will give them the two fingers?

Chelsea have a pretty forgettabe record of bringing through young tallent. Has anyone become a first team regular since John Terry?
S-Clarke Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 What are the rules? He's 16 right...can he walk via a tribunal? 17, he's locked into a pro contract. Jack Cork should have a few words about progression for their young players.

Saint Scott Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 I really feel we've missed out on fabio from Manchester United. The fact he has gone to QPR surely means we would have had a great chance of getting him based on what happened with Macheda last season. He would of been an amazing signing and ideal for RB this year.

Saint Scott Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 Fabio is a left-back. HTH. Rafael plays right-back. Fabio is actually a right back. The only reason he plays left back is because rafael is the better of the two. Which tbh is even better as he is capable of playing both positions well.

This is why we won't sell Shaw as we could never find a quality left back anywhere on the 20k week max we are paying out.

Surely Rodriguez would be on more?
Matthew Le God Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 There are Saints players on more than £20k p/w. The Japanese press for example reported Tadanari Lee was on £15k p/w in the Championship and had a 50% promotion clause taking him to £23k p/w.

S-Clarke Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 ??? 50% of 15k = 7.5k 15k + 7.5k = 23k. (there or there abouts)

Pilchards Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 Seriously? Surprised our top earners like Lambert is not on more. Surely Rodriguez would be on more?I suppose I'm referring to last season as I forgot we got promoted.:)I knew the max as Billy Sharp always said he would sign for Saints as he would play for 20k a week.
Matthew Le God Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 Just in case anyone wonders where I got it from... http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/clubfootball/news/newsid=1563532.html?cid=rssfeed&att=
Verbal Posted 2 July, 2012 Posted 2 July, 2012 Technically 15K +7.5 is not 23. In Premier League football you always round up.
Badger Posted 3 July, 2012 Posted 3 July, 2012 In Premier League football you always round up. An unwritten rule in Maths.
southamptonfclegend Posted 3 July, 2012 Posted 3 July, 2012 Tom Huddlestone is being linked with Fulham, someone like him would be a class signing would prefer him over recent links to Martinez and Davis.
Saint Charlie Posted 3 July, 2012 Posted 3 July, 2012 Tom Huddlestone is being linked with Fulham, someone like him would be a class signing would prefer him over recent links to Martinez and Davis. Good player but has missed a lot of games last two years and might be a bit similar to Morgan? Will be a good signing for someone though.
Saint Garrett Posted 3 July, 2012 Posted 3 July, 2012 Huddlestone would be a fantastic player for us. Not much chance of getting him however.
Dig Dig Posted 3 July, 2012 Posted 3 July, 2012 I suppose I'm referring to last season as I forgot we got promoted.I knew the max as Billy Sharp always said he would sign for Saints as he would play for 20k a week. How sweet of him. Bless
Badger Posted 3 July, 2012 Posted 3 July, 2012 Isn't Huddlestone a bit like Connolly is meant to be, good but perpetually injured ?
Noggin Posted 3 July, 2012 Posted 3 July, 2012 Huddlestone would be great. With the managerial changes perhaps Spurs will be daft enough to let him go. I'd forgotten about him, not so long ago he was near the england squad. Good passer of the ball, would do well here but unlikely and expensive. Still, if Fulham are going for him why not. I have always felt that Huddlestone has been one of the most over-rated players in the prem in recent years. The odd "Hollywood" pass and long range shot may catch the eye, but from what i have seen the game often just passes him by. For the wages that Huddlestone would demand, I feel we could bring in a player of better ability who is less injury prone.
Saint J 77 Posted 3 July, 2012 Posted 3 July, 2012 Reminds me of the opening scene of this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=hPzoIEBz52M#t=36s haha love I Blackadder, I sat and watched it all in the end, even part 2 You can imagine Redknapp being on the end of the bean coversation with some of his chairman over the years.

Saint Charlie Posted 4 July, 2012 Posted 4 July, 2012 He'd be better than what we already have Don't be sure about that Dave. I remember when you told me you thought Schneiderlin offered less than Jermaine Wright...not sure I trust your judgement!
JustMike Posted 4 July, 2012 Posted 4 July, 2012 A German, a Goalkeeper and Buttner....you heard it here first

SuperSAINT Posted 4 July, 2012 Posted 4 July, 2012 Confirmation that Fleck obviously not as good as he is on FM... Coventry have reached an agreement with Rangers to sign attacking midfielder John Fleck. We'll bring you more shortly. (From Sky Sports)
saintbob40 Posted 4 July, 2012 Posted 4 July, 2012 Huddlestone is too heavy and injury prone + he has made his money. One of those on the downward slope I feel......
