Well done on your much-deserved promotion. Best team throughout the season in my opinion.

Your fans attitude to us winning at your place was far more respectful than we experienced at Upton Park. Totally ungracious, billy big ****** attitude. Similar at 'we're the biggest club in the South' Brighton.

Great ground, great support, great manager. Good luck to you next season! :p

Very gracious of you sir, as the team with the most wins and that remarkable winning streak, you deserve your promotion, too. I hope Cardiff turn over WHam next week and go on to win the play-offs, then my team and the two teams I have family connections to will all be playing in the big league together ...and WHam could probably use a portion of humble pie.

Proof that you don't have to be a tool to be a good successful manager. Adkins, McDermott, Lambert and Rogers have all done brilliant jobs taking teams up. All intelligent, fairly calm and don't seem to blame everyone else, look for excuses etc.

Good luck to them all, and please can we have an end to the ridiculously exaggerated reputations of people like Big Sam, and McLaren for a while, not to mention trash like Sven and Capello just here for money.

Hear, hear.

And well done to the Royals - cheesed off they pipped us (I bloody knew they would lose today) but delighted for a few local derbies - assuming we can get tickets! I like to drop the missus of at Costco to do a big shop while we tonk the blue and white ;)

Absolutely agree. Reading seem a decent and honest club, McDermott seems a genuinely likeable chap, Reading fans seem gracious, so good on them. WHam, like Brighton, are the polar opposite in every sense.

Cheers mate, reckon we'll both survive to be honest.

And on West Ham, I'd love to hear Adkins' and McDermott's view on Sam Allardyce. They must hear him in interviews turning on the fans and criticising his own players and really wonder how he's managed to carve himself out a (relatively) successful managerial career!

I would like to add my congratulations as well - it's been a hell of a season for our family as my brother-in-law is a Saint, so everybody's happy. Both our clubs deserved what they got and the other 22 largely got what they deserved. I firmly believe both can survive the Premiership next season as well - both Adkins and McDermott are the sort of manager who will do things the right way and not simply try to buy their way to survival like QPR tried to this season.

Many thanks to most of the balanced comments on here - those on other threads who describe us as "tinpot", "mugs", "Noddy", "cringeworthy" etc - well, whatever floats your boat, be happy with your jaundiced opinions of us. From reading some of the threads on here, I think it's safe to say we all have a few contributors who need to pull their heads from up their arses - we too have a sizeable interspazweb contingent who are mortally "embarrassed" by the way other people support "their" club. Every club has shirters + scarfers, kids, old folk etc - we can't all lay our bouquets at the temple of Manc blackshirts and follow the God of properfootballfans -whatever they are.

Good luck for next season to those who follow their club without a plate full of chips on each shoulder - the same applies to us.

Like!

Seriously though - The managers and team ethos of clubs like Saints, Reading, Naaarich and Swansea represent the modern game and the modern way of doing things with a quiet, intelligent efficiency. Sort of like Hodgson as opposed to Redknapp.

Thanks.. Reading deserved the Top Spot for such a brilliant run at the business end of the Championship.

Ignore the rude comments, some of our fans only see things through a Red and White haze.

Good Luck Next season; we both may need it !
