I'd go for Cardiff - the Cardiff Swansea rivalry in the premiership would be interesting! Also they've never been in the premier league -,Brum, Blackpool and WestvHam have all had their days in the sunshine!

Plus I'd like to see us sign Ince and Phillips from Blackpool and Danny and Davies from Brum City.

Why are so many people anti West Ham?? They're not our promotion rivals any more.

I want Wham to win simply because anything else is blatantly unfair. Saints, Reading and Wham have clearly been the best 3 teams in the league and it's those three that should be up, even if you do hate that baffoon Allardyce. In the same way, it was ridiculously unfair that Hudders didnt go up last season.

Remember Holloway 2 seasons ago having a go at us saying 'were in the premier leagues by right.' Yeah by right coz those are the rules but not by merit. The playoffs make the league more interesting but when some cocky git like Holloway gets up by finishing 6th then lords it up, it really winds me up.

If West Ham really are the next best team in the League, they will win the playoffs comfortably and get promoted. Blackpool got promoted 2 years ago beating 2 teams who were apparently better than them, ergo they earned it. Wham may have earned more points thus far, but that's how the playoff system works. Without it teams like Boro, Leeds, Brighton, Leicester, Hull etc. Would have had nothing to play for for the last 2 months of the season. The playoffs give some of the smaller teams with smaller budgets a shot at promotion. Without them the Football League would be sh*t.

I think West Ham will do it - it's not like they have just dropped into third - they've been preparing for it for a while now. The Blackpool fairy-story has been done, they're not needed in the Premier League anymore - we've got enough no-mark clubs from the north west in the top flight as it is. Birmingham are just dull and probably will lose to Blackpool. Cardiff will lose to WH, serial, masterful chokers.

West 'am, the big 'I am' - no fanks mate

Birmingham City, potential money lauderers - too close to the blue few - not for me.

Blackpool, Ian Holloway, say no more - NO.

So it's Cardiff for me please.

this is why i'm so relieved not to be in these play-offs, even though they were are aim at the beginning of the season.

Its so hard to predict. It is simply the team that is on form that week, that day, or even one half and manage to score a couple.

Nearly impossible to predict. Gonna be entertaining to watch these games, as a neutral. Well , hate Wham.

Reckon Birmingham will get there but would like to see Blackpool do it.

Want with head to go up : Wham - they deserve it. The top 3 teams were well ahead of the League - why should they suffer the lottery of the playoffs. Despite the fact that David Gold gives me the creeps.

Want with heart to go up : Cardiff - those lovely little sheep sh*ggers. Lesser of 4 evils.

Think will go up : Blackpool - possibly the best team we faced this season, excluding Reading.

Financially both West Ham and Birmingham need to go up. As such I'd quite like both to fail.

However, in terms of Saints picking up points next season, I feel Birmingham is our best chance.

Overall, i feel Blackpool have had their chance quite recently leaving Cardiff as the team who deserve it most.

Apologies to Ziggy but I absolutely loathe the Welsh. It is wrong that 1 Welsh team is in the Premier League already so Cardiff can go do one.

I did hate West Ham and fat Sam however they are a proper Premier League team, and the banter I have had with their fans has made me changed my mind a little over the last month or so.

Blackpool are not even a Chumpionship team and with their Pikey support [see their shirt sponsor] should be in about league 1 with other broken down clubs.

I've always had a laugh when out and about in Birmingham and have found Brummie girls put out quite easily; not that I'm looking anymore.

anyone know why the NPC has finished so early..?

I was thinking this. It seems strange not to be playing at least one league game in May, and certainly finishing before the lower leagues is peculiar. Still, more preparation time before the Premier League season.

Disagree. They've spent huge, more than they can possibly afford, in a desperate gamble to go up. They don't deserve to go up.

Hate Blackpool.

Tiny club, horrible manager, sh*tty stadium to have to visit next season.

Don't really want WHU to go up.

Birmingham I wouldn't be that bothered whether they go up or not to be honest.

But think Cardiff deserve it the most, they have been trying for 7 years every season in the play-offs/top 8 they deserve to go up eventually!

I want Brum to go up as my mate is a Brum fan (he comes to Saints games with me and follows us as well), he's promised to take me to a Brum vs Villa game next year if they go up. Tasty.

However, I think Blackpool will go up. Just got a feeling about them.

West Ham as a club ( the manager in particular) and the fans I have met seem to have an ingrained assumption that they belong in the PL. As a Saints fan Saints have earned that right this year by scoring more goals than any other team in the league and being the most consistent performer - not outside top 2 all season. I hope West Ham falter in the play offs, and have always liked the way that Ian Holloway comes across. Would be entertaining to have him/Blackpool in the spotlights of the PL again. Also gives Saints the chance to avenge the away defeat of this season where saints didnt seem to turn up.

Definitely don't want West Ham, then after that it's down to who's likely to be weaker next season and who has players we could poach if they don't go up. Brum have Curtis Davis, Blackpool Matt Phillips, Cardiff perhaps Peter Whittingham. Don't think there'd be too much in it between them in the Prem, unless Brum go into admin or similar. On that basis I'd say I'd rather Cardiff went up.
