I honestly never thought it would happen and have to say that I laughed when Nicola made his statement about being in the Premier league within 5 years.

Well we are back were we should be. We have to be clever and decisive in the transfer market. But that is for another day. Now is the time for celebration for all supporters of SFC

I was right about promotion at an early stage this season.....But the 5 year plan? Hell, I was soooo sceptical!! I'll have two slices of humble pie for that one please!

When Marcus bought us I was just happy that we had survived and enjoying the positive spin for a change. I thought 5 years to the Premier League would be tough and when we didn't get immediate promotion from L1 I did wonder whether we would lose momentum. This year I did think we would have a good season, but didn't really think we'd do better than an outside chance at the play-offs. I'm just so glad I mde the decision to come back to be part of the promotion season (although I was hoping for better from the Pompey & Reading games!). I just wish I could have stayed for an extra week and seen today's game. I hope that the fans and the chairman don't get on Nigel's back if we're not top 6 next season! LOL

I'm well cheesed off. 1 point away from 14/1. A bet I placed in total confidence before a ball was kicked. Humble pie? No. Total faith.

 

And now I'm cheesed off because my bookie won't give me a price on Champion's League qualification. He wants a day or two to 'think about it'...
