View From The Top Posted 27 April, 2012 Share Posted 27 April, 2012 Where is this Lea Mills place you speak of? Matlock, Derbyshire, about a 50min run from me, on the edge of the Peaks. It's their original mill from circa 1780. About 1km from Arkwright's 1st mill for those that know their industrial history. http://www.johnsmedley.com/uk/discover/lea-mills-our-home/
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 27 April, 2012 Share Posted 27 April, 2012 I shall be wearing my usual stylish Oxfam and even cheaper charity shop ensemble, topped off with a £3.50 beige baseball cap I bought from ASDA last Saturday. As for the question of suitable socks and underwear, it will probably be the same combination I've had on for nearly a week.

Always considered it to be lucky until I wore itto the semi at Pride Park in 07, not worn it since, so i want to know was that a blip or is it really lucky? Not sure really? We won 3-2 at Pride Park, how is it not lucky ?

colehillsaint Posted 27 April, 2012 Share Posted 27 April, 2012 Right, bedtime and I've got my stuff laid out for the morning. I'm going for Calvin Klein boxers, a Hackett polo shirt, my favourite K Swiss nubuck trainers, and a Helly Hansen jacket. Oh and because I'm a bit nervous about the game, I'm going to match it with a pair of Arko armoured dayglo chainsaw trousers that I've brought home from work. opthomps Posted 28 April, 2012 Share Posted 28 April, 2012 I wonder if that soppy sod with the wig and multi coloured bow tie from the middlesbrough game will be going like that again. Hopefully they have learnt their lesson. As for Smedley at Lea Mills. it's had it's day now imo. Too commercial.

dune Posted 28 April, 2012 Share Posted 28 April, 2012 Hmmmm Clarks getting a bit popular might wear my Sebago Docksiders now. I thought they were more school shoes, but what do i know, good to see a good old English make doing well. A local independent shoe repairer near me stocks these and they're what I go for. They're pricey, but I look after them. http://www.cheaney.co.uk/

Legod Third Coming Posted 28 April, 2012 Share Posted 28 April, 2012 I thought they were more school shoes, but what do i know, good to see a good old English make doing well. A local independent shoe repairer near me stocks these and they're what I go for. They're pricey, but I look after them. http://www.cheaney.co.uk/ If you ever want a pair 'fixed' send them back. I managed to scuff the front of one and it needed a new sole anyway. Thought about ditching them but my local shoe shop told me they thought they might be able to salvage them... Salvage them? For £80 they came back looking like they day I bought them!! Cannot speak highly enough of their after-care... Now back to the point! I've gone brown boots (Loakes I think, make has worn off), jeans, company fleece (it's cold out there) and the final Premiership shirt over the top! COYS!!!
