Well then chaps, the big game is almost upon us and I just want to make sure we're all looking spick and span for the big day.

I presume everyone has chosen their outfits or purchased that new bit of clobber by now?

I still can't decide on footwear of choice, will have to re-asses the weather in the morning.

Will probably go for some good ol' Marks and Sparks boxer shorts and some One True Saxon socks.

As for Jeans, I'll probably wear my Edwin jeans (rolled up of course)

Lacoste or Ralph Polo (All buttons done up of course)

With all this rainy weather about, I'd be mental to wear anything other than my Barbour Cagoule.

Feel free to ask me for advice if you're unsure on what to wear.

Come on then SWF, surprise me...

DISCLAIMER: Please note, if your choice in clothing isn't up to mine, Turkish, Sour Mash or Dune's standards, you won't be admitted to the ground and will be forced to sell your ticket on the ticket thread.

I will have on a pair of Loake brogues (probably an older pair, what wtih all this rain around, but well polished to keep it out), my older Hugo Boss jeans (again see weather), a block polo - most likely a Jack Wills number because it upsets the kids, and one or more replica shirts - I'm torn between the Le Tissier last season special replete with name and number or the last Premiership kit with the red sleeves - seems somewhat circular to wear it for relegation and promotion... so maybe both.

There's no point in a coat - it'll just get wet. And the football shirts are designed to dry quickly.

As for underwear, the word Commando springs to mind.

I'll be wearing the full home kit complete with 'Cortese 8s Skates' on the back. In terms of footwear I'll be wearing my Gola football boots and Sondico shinpads. I want to be prepared just in case Nige wants to give me a late call up.

In the ground (I'll head in as soon as the turnstiles open and hang up my JJB St George's flag) I'll have a thermos flask in one hand and a rattle in the other. I'm getting my haircut too, 'Premier League' shaved into the back of my head. I'll also have a Tesco carrier bag with me to keep the programme dry.

No boxers as I like to dangle.

This surely is acceptable?!

As it stands, a lot of you aren't going to be allowed in. Get yourselves down John Anthony (a little pricey but at such short notice, it'll have to do) and get yourselves looking dapper for our *potential* big day.

Yeah right!! Have you seen the bloody queue outside!! there must be over 18,000 people in it, The copper helping to keep things in order wanted to know what the chuff was going on as he said from 9:53 this morning people started converging on the shop, the car parks are full and the Avenue is at a standstill.

My Brian Griffin socks will be the highlight for me.

I am assuming that as about 50% of the crowd will be wearing Saints shirts they are "acceptable" match wear...

You can wear a shirt, providing it's not worn over the top of a jumper or hoody.

Any chance you could provide us with a mock-up of your outfit, The9?

Tesco Delaware jeans, the ones with the white stitching. A nice George brown/white large check cowboy shirt. One green sock and one brown sock as I can't find the other pair. My duffel coat, i'll try and get the snot stains off the cuffs seeing as it's a special ocassion. Oh! my special shoes which have a compass in the heel.

The weather doesn't look all that bad on the Met Office app.

I'm thinking I'll probably wear:

Black Ralph trainers (same sort of style as Vans, stylish and comfortable)

Hugo Boss jeans (dark blue)

Diesel polo shirt (all buttons done up)

Ted Baker jacket (had it a while, but it's smart as f*ck)

I imagine I'll be in the Giddy Bridge from 9 if you want photographs taken with me.

How will we distinguish you from all the other student mincers in there? Could you wear a name badge?

I'll also be wearing a foam hand, a red & White jester hat, wig, and facepaint, just to blend in. I'm not aware of any pubs other than wetherspoons opening at 9am, so our options are limited.
