New ticketing system - Validate your details

Just did mine, got to Final Step & just leaves me with a Saints huddle wall paper, countdown clock and a heading Privacy Policy with no text, just sitting there.

So have I finished?

Same happened to me. No idea what is meant to happen, I'd guess it is now validated but would have been nice to receive such a message to confirm it.

Didn't work for me first time, so started it again.

The problem is with the phone numbers, if you go over the limit they set then you get a blank final step. It misses off the final digit. So I just took off the first 0 of them both and then it let me see the proper final step page.

"Your details have not been recognised"

Brilliant :adore:

I had that, I recently changed my address online, so I tried my old address and it worked using my old post code. It then offered the chance to correct my address. They must of used an old data base when they started setting this new thing up, I guess.

Sorry Steve someone replied while I was replying to you.

Me also - I think that is it. Some sort of confirmation would be nice but there you go.

I had to do that too and then it worked Ok, think they need to explain this on instructions as otherwise loads of people will think they've completed Ok when in fact they haven't

Aha - as mentioned by JonnyLove, if you use a w@nk browser like IE (rather than a decent one like Chrome or FF) it DOES work and you do get an email also. Usually it is the other way around - you get your application working fine and then as a final test you try it on IE and it doesn't work. Then you spend another hour or two working around the foibles of IE

I tried the phone number thing, and it worked for me. So if you're getting the blank last page, retry it, remove leading zeros from telephone numbers and retry. You should then get the marketing options and T+C tick boxes at the end.

Not ideal.

I didn't have to remove the zeros, just went back and submitted again and it worked.

Adkins OUT!

EDIT : Done it now, I Think

ended up with a picture of a road going nowhere. Prophetic or what!

You should end up on a page that looks like this:

updateconfirmation.png

You should also get an email.

Dunno if the countdown is to the start of the Championship season or the Premiership season :)

i didn't get the message, just the road to nowhere image.
It probably worked, but the final confirmation hasn't. That happened to me, so I tried again in IE and all the changes I made using FF were there, but with IE I also got the final confirmation and email.

Itys certainly strange that they warn you to leave a gap bewteen the two parts of your post code but don't specify how the DoB needs to be entered or whether there is a phone number format they need.......and when you end up on "The Road To Nowhere" page, how are you supposed to know if you've done the necessary?

Does seem a bit amateurish - surprising really.
