Clapham Saint Posted 26 April, 2012 Share Posted 26 April, 2012 If we go up please can you keep goals/wings ticket prices as low as possible and hike the prices in the Kingsland/Itchen instead. The sort of people who sit in the Kingsland/Itchen can afford it and they won't mind. Yours Sincerely, Dune. Tax the rich eh? The Fat Controller Posted 26 April, 2012 Share Posted 26 April, 2012 Keep ticket sales with a priority to those that have been on the database since relegation in 2005. I dont want to see the masses out priced, and reward everyone fairly by not allowing ST Holders to purchase more than there own seat before any go on general sale. 100%Red&White Posted 26 April, 2012 Share Posted 26 April, 2012 My mate just renewed his ST at Reading for the same price three years running,£365.00 not bad to watch PL football. Try getting one at SMS for that. Your mate must have a posh seat, they could renew/buy Adult STs for £350 a few weeks back. I see Blackburn are selling adult tickets at £225 in 3 of their stands (cos I keep getting their ad showing on here) - so f*ck knows what Wigan must be selling them for!! With our new ticket system going live today I don't think we'll be waiting long like last year to part with our hard-earned. I think they may very well want to cash-in on the feelgood factor (promotion allowing) this season, particularly if hiked 'Premiership' prices are in waiting. eurosaint Posted 26 April, 2012 Share Posted 26 April, 2012 Dear Nicola, As a 62 year old resident of the Kingsland stand, you obliged me to pay a 72% increase for my ST last year when even the gangsters at More Than only wanted a 29% hike in my car insurance (which BTW I negotiated down to a manageable level!) I trust that you will be aware that the inflation rate in the country for wages/pensions is now around 1% and that you will calculate accordingly ! Ps. please ignore the arse soul that goes by the name of Dune, cos he is nothing more than a sh#t stirring barsteward !

Not everyone in the Itchen is a millionaire just that we like a bit of peace and quiet of a Saturday afternoon. Anyway a 50% hike uniformly applied will still cost me far more than it'll cost you and I don't get a pay rise either.
Charlie Wayman Posted 26 April, 2012 Share Posted 26 April, 2012 so f*ck knows what Wigan must be selling them for!! They pay you otherwise no bugger would ever turn up to watch them especially that looney tunes crank of a manager. Still, if we make The Promised Land (PL - get it?) think of all the delights in store for us like Bolton, Wigan, Villa, Blackburn, QPRsoles... Oh S*** can we stay down please? I understand that not every pensioner is a millionaire, far from it, but you'll struggle to find a poor pensioner nowadays. And if you factor in the free bus passes they don't even have to pay transport costs to go to a game like working people do. And that's without mentioning the winter fuel allowance, pensioners meal deals down the pub, and cheap haircuts on a Tuesday. Everything is geared towards them in todays society so is it really too much to ask that they pay a bit more at the footie?
mcjwills Posted 26 April, 2012 Share Posted 26 April, 2012 Dear Nicola As a Kingsland season ticket holder I would gladly give an extra £100.00 on the cost of my season ticket next year on the proviso the the complete Wayne Kerr that is known as Dune on the saintsweb is banned permanantly from St Marys or he has to pay a £500.00 increase each year. derry Posted 27 April, 2012 Share Posted 27 April, 2012 Tripleing the cost would be just right. It would keep down the queues for food and toilets at half time, there would be no need to enlarge the stadium, keep down the noise and give plenty of room to spread out without reducing income.
