Just how crucial could these 2 goals turn out to be.

I'd also add to that the moment West Ham hit the post at SMS late on, in swinging cross from Noble which came off Hammond's head to leave us all with our hearts in our mouths, only to see it bounce off the up right and away.

How about the chances Saints missed against Reading at 0-0 and 1-1 ?

Kevin Nolan's 1 on 1 last night, the difference between them needing a 2 goal win or a 3/4 goal win if we draw ?

The foul on Lallana at Boro, Sharp shooting over from 6 yards, Chaplow spooning one over after a 30-pass move, the ref giving Boro the free-kick for the second goal, not us on Saturday.

El Abd chucking himself to the ground whilst fouling Lambert cost us a load of points in January.

I keep looking back at Wes Morgan's 95th minute header last night and thinking "what if he'd put it in the corner"?

I was thinking, why did nobody appeal for a penalty? Wes Morgan was kicked in the head whilst stood upright! Definite penalty.

The defeats against Doncaster and Bristol City and the last minute equaliser from the skate ****s. It was almost as if they were saying 'we're going down but that goal is gonna stop you going up'. It could well have the desired effect. Tossers! :-(

or dare I say Norris' equaliser :(

I've been trying to put that out of my head as we would be up now looking at winning against Cov to try and win the championship

Barts brain fart vs Blackpool. 2 extra points = already up.

Or De Ridder not squaring it after Lambert had equalised. We had 2 players in the middle against their keeper. Would have extended our winning home record and also gained us 2 extra points.

There have been more positive deceive moments than negative, but I'm not surprised at the people focusing on the negative moments.

For me, Leeds away was a huge, huge win. Millwall away was a giant victory. WHU at home was a terrific win. The point at WHU was well earned and deserved, after we came back from 1-0 down.

There have been many many moments this season where we've pulled the rabbit out of the bag to a certain extent. There are more positives than negatives this year, and in the buildup to one of our biggest ever games I struggle to understand why certain individuals seem intent on focusing on the negative.

lamberts double against millwall

That was the point i went from hoping to believing, as important a game as MK Dons last year yet so many nancied away from it because it was scary Millwall. Gotta say when i look back at this season that's going to be one of THOSE games you look back on i think.

When Lallana scored our second against Leeds with an absolute class finish. We were well on top against a team that were fancied for the playoffs or thereabouts, and suddenly we all had a glimpse of the season ahead ... before the game we had no benchmark, no idea of whether we would be competitive or not. After that game, we knew that we could compete...

You mean despite us having lost in the league twice since ?

There are none yet because nothing's been decided.

Actually there are loads on the pro and cons list already, we just don't know which list we're picking from yet.

Thought surviving the first half against Cardiff at SMS was a turning point.

They could have quite easily gone 2up and we faced dropping out of the top 2 for the first time but we recovered in the 2nd half, got a pen and drew the game. While we were pretty ordinary that night, the result brought the mini-slump to an end and was the catalyst for a sustained run of form.

I think dodgy ref decisions have been key this season.

Quite, no way would we have beaten Brighton if we hadn't got that penalty that was miles outside the box.

well not quite Turkish.

We won that game 3-0. One penalty more of less wouldn't have made a difference to the result.

we've enjoyed good fortune and suffered in equal measures this season - for Norris's late equaliser see Lamberts late goal against B'pool etc etc.

Given recent results I think we are due a bit of an upturn this weekend

The first match against Leeds. Set the tone for the whole season.

That set the tone for sure, we never really looked back after that. Our start to the season was created by that game.

At some point you just have to enjoy the good moments otherwise it all seems a bit pointless. Not just in football either!

Absolutely, ABSOLUTELY, right !!!!

Got to be up there! All 11 players inside own 6 yard box...

As others have said, the decisive moment will come on Saturday and it is in the hands of the team to make it happen. If they don't want it or can't make it happen then everything that has occured before is irrelevant.

They will make it happen - believe!
