southamptonfclegend Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 As you all know Saturday's game is massive and easily the biggest for a fair few years, I'm probably not the only one thinking if we do not finish 2nd that it will be very unlikely that we'd win the play-offs, so from 12.30 onwards we need to get behind the team everyone singing.. atmosphere better than the Pompey game would be amazing to push us over the line. SNSUN Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 As per the live nPC table, I'm confident that there will not be one minute of that 90 when we're in third position. Second's ours, let West Ham have five days of false hope.

Window Cleaner Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 You'll be surprised. I bet they'll be a few! Early kick-off though, depends what time the Woodentopps or Magic Roundabout start I guess. Some people used to leave early to be home in time for Dr Who.Too many very young kids at football nowadays. Gingeletiss Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 thats the spirit....no chance in the playoffs I think it it only you and I, that still have faith in our team. Everyone I speak to, say Saints have blown it, TV pundits, think it's a matter of routine, that West Hoof will win on Saturday against a fairly good Hull, but we will struggle against Coventry! That because they want that bunch to be there - 'those loveable cockney rogues who won us the world cup and all that' BS - and as we know the TV guys are so London/Northwest centric - better for their advertising revenues - even more of a reason to shove it back at 'em. Ewell Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 I wonder how many people will be leaving on 85 minutes to beat the traffic on saturday.... On the odd occasion then fair enough some may have to nip off but on Saturday they will be getting home 2 hours earlier than normal so if anyone leaves early they should be rounded up and shot. Fan The Flames Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 I wonder how many people will be leaving on 85 minutes to beat the traffic on saturday.... There's no better feeling than getting out early and opening up the Lupo on an empty Avenue knowing theres 30000 people behind you. Doing it on Saturday knowing we are probably promoted will be like having a sixth gear.
Capel Saint Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 I wonder how many people will be leaving on 85 minutes to beat the traffic on saturday.... Who cares? They paid their money like everyone else and if they want to leave on 85 mins then that is up to them. Personally I will be staying to enjoy the promotion party! (positive thinking? you bet!) :-)

Personally I will be staying to enjoy the promotion party! (positive thinking? you bet!) :-) I'm sure the players do. On several occasions this season some of them have looked a bit annoyed at putting in a great performance only to see a half empty stadium at the final whistle. The Middlesoborugh and Birmigham games stick in my mind for this.

Nothing to do with a world class strike or our inability to close a player down on the end of the penalty area.

I have never ran on the pitch (unless it was end of season etc)...what happens to them..do they get arrested.? remember going to the Dell and we were playing ipswich (we won 4-3).....we went 1-0...then 2-1 down..and we egg'd this bloke to run on the pitch if saints scored again....at 2-2...after jumping around in the milton..we saw said bloke running around by the half way live being cheered by the crowed...never knew what happened to him.....he missed a cracker mind as we went on to win
