SaintNeil90 Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 According to 5live commentators after tonight's game. (sorry if already posted)
trousers Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Haven't they done a 'multi-cast' before where they flip between the games that matter?
Frank's cousin Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 If we are 5 up at half time, they may switch to one of the games for the final play off place I guess... think thats happened before if the action is else where
SaintNeil90 Posted 23 April, 2012 Author Posted 23 April, 2012 Haven't they done a 'multi-cast' before where they flip between the games that matter? They have definitely done that with highlights but not sure about live games.
Saint_clark Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 They have definitely done that with highlights but not sure about live games. Wouldn't really work with live games, when do you switch between them?
Andover_Saint07 Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 im guessing wet spam game on sky tv as they both have championship games listed for 12.30... at least its not sky haha

Frank's cousin Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Great on the telly we always play so well on the telly............... ........perfect opportunity to show the armchair wold exactly why we deserve to be promoted - bring it on!
alpine_saint Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Great on the telly we always play so well on the telly............... Well, at least its not Sky.
doddisalegend Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 ........perfect opportunity to show the armchair wold exactly why we deserve to be promoted - bring it on! Yeah I thought that about Pompey away, Blackpool away, Boro away, Reading away and every time we left people in their armchairs scratching there heads going "WTF how are they top of the league".........I suppose at least we're at home for this one
Raging Bull Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 I do believe we've won a couple of times on tv not to mention the law of adverages.
Graffito Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Remember the first game of the season, a sunny Saturday in August, when we announced our intentions to the Championship and to the viewers in emphatic style with a joyous 3-1 victory over Leeds. As someone pointed out on another thread, it would be perfect symmetry to sign off with a 3-1, again on tv, this time against Coventry, in the final game of the season.
MarkSFC Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 well we started the season on live tv and I seem to recall we we quite good that day so I have no doubts that we will finish the job off in style. The 'pressure' of last opportunity will focus the minds of this team. When its really properly mattered they have not let us down.

If WHU had lost they would have covered the Palace game. The coverage would all have been sorted with Sky say last week, taking into account their coverage agreement with/for the Championship. Trader Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Well, at least its not Sky. Absolutely - we did so well at Blackpool the last time we were on the Beeb.
Super_Uwe Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2746639,00.html It's official - on the box. I won't be watching or listening to the game full stop. Any time this season I've tried to follow the team on TV or on the radio they have lost or drawn. I am not going to tempt fate!
DrunkenSaint Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 We're doomed, why oh why don't we just say NO, we play so much better without the camera's there.
Ohio Saint Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Great news for ex pats! That means the best stream possible with ex pat shield!
saint_in_munich Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 There's a live NPC match on Fox soccer plus!!! Doesent say who though.

Hi Ohio Saint, I'm in Edmonton this weekend so can't go to the game, but this sounds like the next best thing. How reliable is it? I was looking at this one http://www.uktelevision.tv/vpn_index.asp

I was looking at this one http://www.uktelevision.tv/vpn_index.asp http://www.expatshield.com This works great, installs really easily and is a breeze to use. I havn't looked at anything else since using this one.

Cestrian Saint Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 We're doomed, why oh why don't we just say NO, we play so much better without the camera's there. Exactly. :-(
Wade Garrett Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 bo!!ocks, this clashes with Miss Marple on ITV Thank God for Sky+.
kpturner Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 We're doomed, why oh why don't we just say NO, we play so much better without the camera's there. It makes no difference at all - superstitious claptrap!
Flyer Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 It makes no difference at all - superstitious claptrap! Stats say otherwise, I am watching and I havent seen Saints win a game since at least the Derby playoff shootout. Saints have promotion form in non TV matches and relegation form in TV matches so there is some serious under performing going on. This problem will need to be sort if you go up because the cameras are there every game and about 25% of games will be live on TV. Ill accept the blame for any loss!
adysaint Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Davies Fox Fort Hoidonk Richards / Buttersfield Lana Schinderler Cook Del Gardo Sharpay Lambert Worst. Co-commentator. Ever.
Horley CTFC Saint Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 That's a great law, that is ...and anyway as my Maths teacher always to used to say to me there is no law of averages
suewhistle Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Great news for ex pats! That means the best stream possible with ex pat shield! Thanks for reminding me. I'll start taking the heart pills now.

PaulSaint Posted 25 April, 2012 Posted 25 April, 2012 Anyone know the true stats I.e. do we lose 75% of the games when on Sky but only 45% of those on BBC?
