The Leicester Vs West Ham Match Thread

I like it when WHU win and people start saying: 'There is absolutely no chance we'll stay second now!'

But what about the 2/3/4/5 more points we have than them?

Even if WHU win I think we'll finish it on the final day! COYR

Watch the ref in this game, will be some strange decisions to keep the season alive for Sky at the weekend.
Monday evening's referee will be Mr Eddie Ilderton.

Ilderton has never taken charge of a West Ham United game but has refereed one Leicester City game this season. He was the man in black for the Foxes 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Millwall.

West Ham couldn't beat Bristol last week, so it won't be easy for them tonight. The fact that Leicester are at home, and there manager is Sergeant Major Pearson, doesn't suggest to me that they will take it easy.

If West Ham win, then fair play to them. Personally I couldn't give a monkeys if they win 10-0. Control the controllables. Win against Coventry.

SPOT ON, you only have to look at the Prem, Utd were so far behind city and got so many decisions there way, all results in a huge game on Sky in a weeks time. funny that!

in some perverse way...It would be better for West Ham to not win tonight...as if they do, they will have to go hammer and tongs against Hull...we will beat Coventry, I have no doubt and a valuable resting period for their better players would be lost before going away to a tricky game in the playoffs

winning tonight, just delays the inevitable for them

How I would like to think BFS is thinking that way.. Somehow I doubt it. :(

its crazy isn't it.....could all be over in about 7 hours

I am going to the pictures so will look at my sky sports app when I come out to get the final score....arrrgh

I know that moment. That was the way I found the Plymouth score last year once I was back in range. Went mental.

But also how I heard the Blackpool result a few weeks back. :(

Can't decide whether to do my Middlesbrough trick (watch the game through fingers clasped to my head in despair), or my Peterbrough trick (turn phone back on and read messages just after final whistle). Latter trick worked, former didn't.

It's ironic, in 2008 we sent Leicester out of the league the other way and now they have the chance to send us out of this league the other way.

Nigel Pearson of course involved on both occasions.

I'm glad to see people putting bets on a West Ham win! Either the bookies will take a raping tonight or we'll be celebrating promotion! I'm tempted to add to my £250 bet actually, so sure that I am that West Ham will win tonight...

well, can only assume leicester will go for it....talk on the leicester forum that pearson job may not be safe so a strong end to the season is essential

they have a fully fit squad to pick from and are very very good at home

Wouldn't suprise me if that's the case, their owners are hot heads to say the least. They want success and they want it now.

and to be fair 15m spent in the championship should kind of equal at least a playoff place, if managed properlly.

Is Pearson's record much better than that of Sven??

they have bee really good at home...its their away record that has them stumped I think

they have not lost at home since 14 January...and won 5 out of the last 7 at home too..

surely SURELY just one more undefeated, last game of the season for them???

I don't want to put a downer on them at home as they have been very good but millwall and barnsley have beaten them there this season. Not 2 of the best teams in this league!

Leicester are 6th in the form table for the season at home........one place below Brighton. How did Brighton do against West Ham at home :?

and one place above Cardiff........CC 0 - WH 2.

Sorry being negative......I'll stick with my prediction of 2-2

I suggest we all watch something else on TV, turn off the PC, iPads, mobiles and then just turn on SSN at 9.40. That is what I am doing. Cannot stand it anymore. Its the hope that hurts so much - we cannot affect or control it.

Nonsense!!! By the same token we shouldn't attend SMS or ever listen to or watch a game of our own!!!

Tonight, Matthew, I have adopted a gruff psuedo-Midlands-cum-Derby accent, I shall be drinking a swift brown ale, I shall be pretending I work for British Gas in Hinkley and cheering the Foxes from the Rafters!!!

Lii-ine-kerr, L-ii-ine-kerr

Blu'army, Blu'army, Blu'army

Nigel Pearson's blue and white army, we 'ate Derby, Forest, County, Coventry, Villa, Burton Albion*

*Apologies my football geography of the Midlands is not exact! :)

Why will they? Everyone knows it is a huge game for us tonight, but only if we end up getting up. We still will want to win on Saturday and we'll still be 2 points clear of West Hoof United.

Exactly! But i just know the mindsets of people on this site, if WHU win all will be over.(!)!)

He is currently preparing his posts in advance.

my mate from work has facebook'd me and (who is a cov season ticket holder)...and said they are that poor, they just hope they can keep it at 3 goals to us...

he said they are terrible and are playing "the kids" and at best a league 1 mid table team with no direction

I'm looking forward to it tonight tbh as it'd be sooo Good if Nigel Pearson helped us out and got us to the Promoted and to the

Premier League without kicking a ball which will be Sweet so I have a feeling that Leicester could sneak it either 2-1 or 3-2 and

if West Ham win they win and will still be 2 points ahead and that I think we'l go on and rip Coventry apart on Saturday

But we'l see!!!

Come on Leicester n COYR!!! :D
