Kiss goodbye to our promotion hopes. Can't see us beating Coventry. Nothing about ability and Coventry being relegated, this is football and it is always hard to call.

Bring on Saturday. It is the biggest fixture that I can think of for years. the cup final was big, but the stakes for losing were less. The Man U relegation from the premier league was probably the last fixture this huge. Come on Saints.

Coventry won't be easy - yes they're relegated blah blah blag, but they have **** all to lose and Hull and absolutely zip to play for.

Or vice versa? Surely it's the same for Cov and Hull except Hull is a far better team?

This could've been a whole lot worse... imagine a 5-1 win to West Ham. As it is a draw may be enough.

This. Fat Sam was protecting the one goal lead. Mistake. If they had gone for more I reckon they could easily have won by 2 or more. Leicester were total shite.

As it is now, if we draw, WHam have to beat Hull by at least 3.

No more depressing comment please :) So that the KUMB community, can gloat on their forums and say we are going into 'melt - down'

To be fair, we went into meltdown ages ago!

Saints always entertain. This is no different.

Would have taken this at the start of the season. Lovingitbut****tingmyself!

another contradiction.

FFS, Coventry wont turn up, we'll fu cking **** em 3 or 4 nil

How the f*ck did that pile of sh*te beat us twice?

They were bothered against us and werent tonight, considering how riddled with Skate sympathisers they are ?

Sorry, you cannot blame Leicester for the end of season squeaky bum time for us.

Understand what you're saying but there is some similarity there between Cov & Hull.

Main difference for me is that West Ham don't have the expectation, and burden of failure hanging over them from a single match.

Let's be clear.

If we don't do the business on Saturday it will be a monumental choke. Nothing less.

Strongest home record in the division plays weakest away record

not won in our last two...that can not continue surely ?

BIG difference. Boro were good!! Leicester tonight could not have won a one handed poker game...
Whose recent home form was far better than boro's.

Contradiction again here. Both have nothing to play for and both will lose.

Hang on - Leicester had nothing to play for so they rolled over, Hull have got nothing to play for so they will role over but Coventry who are relegated and quite a few of their players will be leaving have lots to play for and beat us....why is that? Why won't they role over and ship three or four goals to one of the best attacks in the league?

Stop being West Ham supporters and start being Saints fans....

Goal difference should be ok for the weekend, cant see West Ham sticking 3 past Hull. Saints should see the promotion out anyway the Coventry players will all be thinking about getting out of there.

Best team over 46 games will go up anyway.

If football is hard to call then why can't you see us beating coventry! surely that statement is a call!

I appreciate the logic of the 'we would have taken this before the season started' and 'it's still in our hands' etc. But in the context of being in the top two all season, and possibly being out of it only on the last day is still pretty devastating!

So one point will be enough as long as West Ham don't do better than 3-0.

They will trounce Hull, so we need to win.

Tonight's result was always going to happen, you could see it as soon as Leicester went in front. There was no way Leicester could continue to withstand the onslaught, and they didn't. They made a good effort, but when you've got nothing to play for there is no doubt that you lose a competitive %.

The last day it is, well and truly in our hands and it's exactly how I thought it would go.

Don't panic.

Actually, no points could be enough if W Ham lose.
