Promotion - how...

Which would you prefer;

* west ham not win tonight, hence 'handing' us promotion

* beating Coventry on Saturday, gaining promotion 'on our own'

Me personally, I'd take it tonight, but I know there are people, mad people, who see this as us being handed promotion.

Who cares, I'd take it any which way.

It will reflect our season if we go up tonight. All a bit of an anti climax. Obviously i dont mean by winning promtion but the 4 times this season we've really had the chance to do something spectacular, ie x 2 v the Skates, Reading and 'boro it's been an anti-climax. Therefore we'll probably go up tonight, but it'll not be the joyous outpouring of emotion and celebration we'd have had by doing it ourselves.

Couldn't care less how but if there's a chance to see Fat Sam looking a more miserable b*stard than usual & Taylor crying like a baby on tv, all the better.

I'd take it tonight (though I've already convinced myself that West Ham have this one won) but in a weird sado-masochistic way would like it to go down to the coventry game as the feeling when we beat them would be immense.

100% take it tonight. If West Ham don't win, we're up. Further, we'll still have deserved it, as we'll have ended up with more points than them.

Plus I can't make the coventry game, which means if West Ham do win I'll be glued to t'internet on my phone, making me very anti social at a good mate's stag do....

Gutted it wasnt Saturday tbh it would have been a nice reward for the traveling support, I hope the Foxes do us a favour & we can just celebrate on Saturday it could be very tense if we have to win it.

What ever happens we have had a cracking season the lads just need to get over the line after being top 2 all season it would be gutting if we don't go up but I feel sure we will COYS

Oh there's no doubt for me. I want Leicester to do us a real favour tonight. A nice comfy win and a demoralised looking West Ham will be just the ticket.

Not sure how well the nerves would be able to stand up to the next few days should WHU manage a win.

With all due respect, you have to be mad not to want Leicester to get at least a draw tonight.

On published odds, our probability of auto promotion is about 96% now, but will drop to 89% if WHU win tonight.

Message to Nigel Pearson. You are a truly wonderful man and Saints should never have sacked you.

I have no problem if West Ham win tonight as I can then look forward to one of those games that will stick in our memories for ever.

I would not swap Delhurst, Everton home (pahars double)

Walsall last season & the Wimbledon 0-0 (while man city played out a draw with Bally)

That's what football is all about with the high emotions and tears.

the WHU biased media will do their best to unsettle usc if it is down to the last game. Promotion is promotion so lets take it tonight. The nerves saturday would be unbearable and the team however professional wil be effected whilst the Civentry teams fate is sealed and they can go and play. Tonight please.

Very true. And Sky's dream would be a week of hyping the chance of West Ham causing a massive upset by overtaking us on the last day - no way that wouldn't be unsettling for the team.
