kpturner Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 If he plays for Leicester tomorrow, does anyone have any doubts about his commitment to his team's cause? I allude, needless to say, to his tweets before and after our games with them this season.

Thedelldays Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 I was alluding to his tweets - not the fans tweets. you really think he actually cares..?
shurlock Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 (edited) Interestingly he did mention the skates but only in the context of Norwich's game at Fratton which saw them promoted. Says it left a nasty taste in his mouth. Strikes me as the kind of player who likes winding others up. Ending Wham's slim chance of auto would no doubt give him satisfaction. aintforever Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Nugent is just one of those annoying scrotes who enjoys antagonising opposition supporters. He doesn't give a sh!te about us.
ottery st mary Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Unless he scores two or three against West Ham...we will then know:rolleyes: he does not like us..

kpturner Posted 22 April, 2012 Author Posted 22 April, 2012 saintsI don't know - I am just trying to find out what other people think. It was a topic of conversation during our night out in Ches Vegas on the return leg from 'Boro.
Colbury Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Yes Nugent will deliberately miss an open goal if the chance presents itself, just to spite us. What a ridiculous question.

What a ridiculous question. There is nothing ridiculous about the question at all - unless your English comprehension skills are lacking. As for the answers, well that may prove to be a different matter (yours especially ). Edited 22 April, 2012 by kpturner
Pat from Poole Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Have to say, I wouldn't trust Nugent to do us a favour.
scotty Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Have to say, I wouldn't trust Nugent to do us a favour. Neither would I, tbh.
kpturner Posted 22 April, 2012 Author Posted 22 April, 2012 Have to say, I wouldn't trust Nugent to do us a favour. That is what was being said last night - or words to that effect. I am not sure myself, but some were adamant that he would not be as motivated as he might otherwise be. Nobody was trying to say he would deliberately miss an open goal btw. Personally, I hope he scores a hat trick.

Wes Tender Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Yes Nugent will deliberately miss an open goal if the chance presents itself, just to spite us. What a ridiculous question. He will miss the open goal more often than not even when he intends to score. He's really not that good.
Saint_clark Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Kept falling over and misplacing passes. Maybe not doing it on purpose, but certainly didn't give his all.
S-Clarke Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Their front 2 are on a combined wage of around 45k p/w (Beckford 30k, nudget around 15k). Painful waste of money. Then you've got Mills, 30k p/w and £5/6m and he doesn't even play!
Depressed of Shirley Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 He was a disgrace, like most of their team. No effort at all, no professional pride, and an insult to the club that pays them. I can't remember Nugent passing to a colleague at any time in last night's game, and the next time he comes to St.Mary's, I expect him to get an even worse reception than last time.
Turkish Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 I am amazed anybody expected anything else. I didn't hear anyone saying the same things about Peterborough and Palace when we cruised to victory against teams which did little more than turn up, just like Leicester.

ThreeSixty Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 Looked extremely smug and satisfied after he was subbed.
gandalf Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 The radio 5 commentary made numerous references to his lack of presence.
