Delboy Dave Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 To whoever it was dressed as Osama yesterday at Middlesborough you made yourself look a right tool! Arguing with all and sundry including stewards, senior stewards and police. In your defence whoever you are, you were quite young and stroppy (maybe going through puberty) so might be full of rebellious hormones I suppose.
kpturner Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 It made me laugh. He had to hand over the mask in the end in order to get in. I couldn't see why the stewards had an issue with it TBH.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Was this the lad with the guys dressed as bears? Had a beard drawn on his face with pen?
Window Cleaner Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Saw a kid dressed as an arab on the TV,unless of course it was EoA or DP and that they've got a right ugly painiting of themselves in the closet somewhere. (Literary reference..think about it).
Saint_clark Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 I do think that if people are making idiots of themselves and those who are "on their side" (in this case Saints fans) actually made a point of telling them so at the time and in person, they would stand a better chance of growing up/changing their ways.
ericofarabia Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Saw a kid dressed as an arab on the TV,unless of course it was EoA or DP and that they've got a right ugly painiting of themselves in the closet somewhere. (Literary reference..think about it). Not Guilty M'lud. I was watching the match on a dodgy innernet stream seeing as once again Al Jism screwed us over and didn't show the match, but had the Barca Madrid match on 5 different channels - WTF is that all about? DP was in some German Strip Joint on a Stag Weekend, totally bollixed. Don't understand the literary reference or indeed even know what a 'painiting' is!!

You'll be saying that people turning up dressed in SS uniforms is OK next. Edited 23 April, 2012 by alpine_saint

alpine_saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 If it's alright for Prince Harry....... Yes but his d*ckheadedness is already well known.
dune Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Yes because mass-murdering Islamic fundamentalists are a barrel of laughs. You'll be saying that people turning up dresses in SS uniforms is OK next. TBF the Nazi's did have style from their uniforms to their choreographed parades to their stirring music.
alpine_saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 tbf the nazi's did have style from their uniforms to their choreographed parades to their stirring music. Yes, as they chuck a load of Poles, Jews and Gypsies into trenches, make them lay down and shoot them in the back of the head.... tw*t
dune Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 tw*t What is so wrong about making that observation? They were on the ball when it came to image and presentation.
alpine_saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 What is so wrong about making that observation? They were on the ball when it came to image and presentation. I cant believe I am reading this, especially that you didnt take time out to think about you wrote and tried to further justify it.
Frank's cousin Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Dune - you really need to f*ckin grow up or stick your purile, infantile ...and basically crap attempts at humour on the MS - If you are any older than 14, then you really are a pathetic specimen.
dune Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 FFS I was making a adult matter of fact point. I don't see what the issue is.
Frank's cousin Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 FFS I was making a adult matter of fact point. I don't see what the issue is. If you had listened at school/parents and got yourself what is known as an 'education' you would.
Raging Bull Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 TBF the Nazi's did have style from their uniforms to their choreographed parades to their stirring music. Interesting little fact for you dune, the ss uniform was designed by a certain Hugo Boss.
dune Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Yes, as they chuck a load of Poles, Jews and Gypsies into trenches, make them lay down and shoot them in the back of the head.... Hardly miles away from the treatment of the mau mau in 1950's Kenya, but that isn't the point. I think that the genocide was awful, but i'm not talking about that, i'm just talking about the public image and presentation which at the time was unsurpassed and a major factor in their rise.
alpine_saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Interesting little fact for you dune, the ss uniform was designed by a certain Hugo Boss. Explains why it was so popular in Paris and Milan during WW2 then.......

You are not only an idiot, you are an offensive idiot.
alpine_saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 We had a politican over here until about 3 years ago called Jörg Haider. He died in a car crash. He was brilliant at serving the interests of the local consitutents, but he was a right-wing whack-job, who made offensive comments like Hitler ran orderly labour schemes. Your comment is on a par with that.
dune Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 You are not only an idiot, you are an offensive idiot. You're just trying to score points because you've been a disgrace in your support of the club these past few weeks.

Frank's cousin Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 You're just trying to score points because you've been a disgrace in your support of the club these past few weeks. I dont always agree with Alp's emotional swings, but at least he has intelligence and integrity about the things that really matter in life.
Noodles34 Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 I dont always agree with Alp's emotional swings' date=' but at least he has intelligence and integrity about the things that really matter in life.[/quote'] do me a favour, everything he says and does is aimed at being contraversial, abusive or just plain stupid. He is not a proper supporter of this club, in fact he may well support another one for all we know because there is no one else on here that is as much as a clown, though maybe that is what he is trying to achieve. In respect of Dune's comments, give it a break! Have you never laughed at JOhn Cleese in Fawlty Towers or various other forms of humour directed at the Nazis, 'Hello, Hello' (not the best example of humour granted), Jesus Christ, get a life, he was hardly endorsing the mass murder of 6 million people was he, but that idiot abroad just jumps on crap like that, the Titanic being another example of his agenda.

Without knowing Apls personally, I can almost guarantee you that he is 100% Saints. Actually I think he and I are very similar in some senses - especially when it comes to handling pressure. My bet (sorry Alps, hope you can accept this): Alps is very passionate but also very afraid of being disappointed. The remedy is to always visualise (and put into writing) the most pessimistic version of possible events, so you do not get disappointed. And if things does not go wrong, you only get pleasantly surprised. Also when things go wrong, putting frustrations into writing can be a great therapy - although (as Alps must probably have noticed by now) this rarely gets a good reception amongst other equally frustrated fans. I do the same, only my coping strategy is different: I concede that I can't make a difference and that I might as well blindly support the team and have fun in the process - but deep down I'm still dreading that we'll c*ck up... Right, I'm off to paint my face and find a funny wig for tonight!

I cant satnd Alps ongoing negativity either, but that does not mean suddenly everthing he says should be irrelevent - I judge each post on its merit.

It irks me too, but people are drawing the wrong conclusion if they think that Alps is not a Saints fan. He seems extremely involved to me, but he has a rather extreme coping strategy. Personally, I think some of the harsh responses he gets are reasonable given the nature of his posts, but I don't find it reasonable to question his allegiance towards Saints...

Lazlo78 Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 how can this be. I mean, what saints fan would say they would make it their life mission to rub it in our faces WHEN we fail to go up..? Benali Saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 The guy dress as Bin Laden was on my coach. He spent the last hour before we got to Boro throwing up as he was ****ed. He didnt get into the stadium and then was passed out all the way home
Lazlo78 Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 No one is questioning the fact he follows Saints. The post right above yours? No. 25 too? Never mind, it's not an argument I really wanted to land myself in, I just wanted to say my piece and be off. Let's all be friends and wear silly wigs.
John Boy Saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 If there was a league championship for fans web forums to get off thread topic, we would be qualifying for Europe with ease. If I had the money I would invite all the usual contributors to meet in person in a pub, just to add alcohol to the mix, as I think that would very interesting to observe the arguing of points of view without having to type them out.
Noodles34 Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 No one is questioning the fact he follows Saints. obviously he 'follows' them, thats not to say he supports them. Anyone who takes pleasure in seeing SAints fail to achieve and then immediately turns to a keyboard to profess the doom and gloom of it all, at EVERY opportunity is not a fan in my book, why would you be a fan if you want to see the team fail?

I cant satnd Alps ongoing negativity either, but that does not mean suddenly everthing he says should be irrelevent - I judge each post on its merit. there's no difference whatsoever, if you dress at Hitler or Bin Laden, you are making them the butt of the joke because most people will be laughing at you. Cant see your point on that. You can judge each post on merit, but you generally you judge things by their cover.

I can follow the logic in your argumentation but I think one of the premises (and hence the conclusion) is wrong: that Alps takes pleasure in seeing Saints fail. I think he hates it more than you and I. Internet fan in that's my final say but still returns to discussion anyway shocker

Lazlo78 Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 how do you explain him saying he would make it his life mission to rub it in our faces WHEN we fail to go up..? He really did state that? I must admit that I can't keep up with all threads in here so much will slip under my radar. But I sincerely hope that it was written in the heat of anger as noone should gloat at other's misfortune* - especially in a situation where everyone will be p*ssed off in the extreme and this place will be like a powder keg at a new year's party... * Misfortune at KUMB obviously excepted

I said YOUR face. YOURS. Singular, not collective. And not because we dont get promoted IF we dont get promoted, but because YOU would be PLAIN WRONG, and you deserve it after your d*ck-swinging "WET FANNIES" posts and thread.
