This will be such a rubbish way to go up. Part of me event wants West Ham to get a win so we can do it at St Marys on Saturday. But then it would also be nice for it to be over and done with once and for all. Argh why didn't we just do it properly yesterday FFS!

why..?

the season is 46 games long

don't you want to go into saturday with no pressure what so ever.

maybe see Shaw and JWP and Sinclair get some game time..?

Will Nigel Pearson want to do us a favour?

Lowe treated him badly, but i'd like to think he appreciates the support he got from the fans.

If Nigel Pearson's team get a result, they will be getting a result for themselves, not Southampton Football Club.

If the result suits us, great, if not, we know the task.

Yep, we all thought the same yesterday as well. Both sides should have kicked off at the same time.

But to have it done and dusted before the last game is great. I didn't want to go to Brum needing to better your result!

Hopefully the Hammers will choke at Leicester and you boys can enjoy a party atmosphere at home next week!

Nugent will probably be booting the ball in his own goal multiple times.

Thats a good point from denzil, that skate bastard probably would stick an own goal in if he thought he'd get away with it. Dont expect any wonder goals like he scored at st marys tomorrow night.....

How long was Nugent actually at Pompey? Seemed to spend most of the time out on loan. Doubt if he has any great loyalty to them actually.

His needle with us was purely started by him. We couldnt care about him. He never played for Pompey against Saints and he was a expensive flop contributing therefore to their downfall so why would we hate him?

We only started to dislike him after his tweet earlier in the season.

Cant see him deliberately playing crap and it would be hillarious if he scored a 90th min equaliser to send us up.

2-0 to West Ham tonight and 2-0 to West Ham on Saturday v Hull, we'll draw 0-0 with Coventry and go up on exactly same goal difference and points, but Saints won at home so we'll go up and they'll lose to Brum in the play offs.

I think that is the 100th time that scenario has been posted :)

It wasn't that West Ham were briliant, it was because Leicester were pretty poor. A lot of the time, both teams were hoofing the ball. Leicester looked as if they were knackered and West Ham weren't much quicker. It just seemed as if neither team had very good fitness levels.

I just hope and pray that we do a job on Coventry and send West Ham into the play-offs, as I don't think on last night's showing that they will be good enough to go up that way.
