dune Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Greetings from the heart of hunting country. For the first time in my life I want them to win FFS. Up the Foxes. [video=youtube;-zfVn_zEdGE]
saints_is_the_south Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 This will be such a rubbish way to go up. Part of me event wants West Ham to get a win so we can do it at St Marys on Saturday. But then it would also be nice for it to be over and done with once and for all. Argh why didn't we just do it properly yesterday FFS!

Colinjb Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 As an adopted Coventrian I feel dirty saying it, but yes, Come on Leicester!!!
Crazy Diamond Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 We can't be fussy about how we go up now. Just as long as it happens. If it's tomorrow, that's fine by me.
Shroppie Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 We can't be fussy about how we go up now. Just as long as it happens. If it's tomorrow, that's fine by me. This.
Doctoroncall Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Felt dirty saying Brighton are a good side when they were due to play West Ham and look where that got us... so not doing it this time!
Leicestersaint Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Come on Leicester Fosse - but they are so inconsistent that anything could happen.
dune Posted 22 April, 2012 Author Posted 22 April, 2012 Come on Leicester Fosse - but they are so inconsistent that anything could happen. Exactly. They've got the ability. Just hope they choose to go out in style.
Denzil Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Nugent will probably be booting the ball in his own goal multiple times.
dune Posted 22 April, 2012 Author Posted 22 April, 2012 Will Nigel Pearson want to do us a favour? Lowe treated him badly, but i'd like to think he appreciates the support he got from the fans.
Saint-Armstrong Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Will Nigel Pearson want to do us a favour? Lowe treated him badly, but i'd like to think he appreciates the support he got from the fans. If Nigel Pearson's team get a result, they will be getting a result for themselves, not Southampton Football Club. If the result suits us, great, if not, we know the task.
Turkish Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 As an adopted Coventrian I feel dirty saying it, but yes, Come on Leicester!!! Do you live in Coventry? I had no idea!
Friday's Legacy Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 This will be such a rubbish way to go up. Part of me event wants West Ham to get a win so we can do it at St Marys on Saturday. But then it would also be nice for it to be over and done with once and for all. Argh why didn't we just do it properly yesterday FFS! Yep, we all thought the same yesterday as well. Both sides should have kicked off at the same time. But to have it done and dusted before the last game is great. I didn't want to go to Brum needing to better your result! Hopefully the Hammers will choke at Leicester and you boys can enjoy a party atmosphere at home next week!
scotty Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 Nugent will probably be booting the ball in his own goal multiple times. Thats a good point from denzil, that skate bastard probably would stick an own goal in if he thought he'd get away with it. Dont expect any wonder goals like he scored at st marys tomorrow night.....

Doubt if he has any great loyalty to them actually.
VectisSaint Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 How long was Nugent actually at Pompey? Seemed to spend most of the time out on loan. Doubt if he has any great loyalty to them actually. Maybe not, but he clearly takes great delight in having a go at us.
bender Posted 22 April, 2012 Posted 22 April, 2012 How long was Nugent actually at Pompey? Seemed to spend most of the time out on loan. Doubt if he has any great loyalty to them actually. His needle with us was purely started by him. We couldnt care about him. He never played for Pompey against Saints and he was a expensive flop contributing therefore to their downfall so why would we hate him? We only started to dislike him after his tweet earlier in the season. Cant see him deliberately playing crap and it would be hillarious if he scored a 90th min equaliser to send us up.
PaulGilchrist_76 Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Leicester have nothing to play for. Expect the worst!
John Boy Saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 This will be such a rubbish way to go up. I am sure Reading fans were slashing their wrists at missing out on winning the Championship sat on their backsides watching us lose to Boro at about 7:20 on Saturday night, and not up at Birmingham.

dune Posted 23 April, 2012 Author Posted 23 April, 2012 I'm apprehensive now, just hope Leicester are up for this to close the season off for us.
Dog Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 2-0 to West Ham tonight and 2-0 to West Ham on Saturday v Hull, we'll draw 0-0 with Coventry and go up on exactly same goal difference and points, but Saints won at home so we'll go up and they'll lose to Brum in the play offs.

CB Fry Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Radio solent broadcasting the five live commentary? Is it me or is that a bit weird?
TheSaintPhil Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 http://www.firstrowsports.eu/watch/120684/1/watch-leicester-city-vs-west-ham-united.html Im watching on this place. few ads but thats blocked!
SO16_Saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Half a bottle of J P Chenet down in the first half, it's only right to finish the bottle, it's clearly been a good omen
SO16_Saint Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Christ, I'm bloody tense! I've got the pc on in the background, and I'm TRYING to catch up on some crappy tv....it's not helping or working tho.
S-Clarke Posted 23 April, 2012 Posted 23 April, 2012 Christ, I'm bloody tense! I must admit, I've tried to convince myself that tonight would be relaxing viewing as it'll be in our hands whatever. But I feel sick at this moment.
Wes Tender Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 It wasn't that West Ham were briliant, it was because Leicester were pretty poor. A lot of the time, both teams were hoofing the ball. Leicester looked as if they were knackered and West Ham weren't much quicker. It just seemed as if neither team had very good fitness levels. I just hope and pray that we do a job on Coventry and send West Ham into the play-offs, as I don't think on last night's showing that they will be good enough to go up that way.
mancsaint Posted 24 April, 2012 Posted 24 April, 2012 I was very disappoint with the form of Leicester, as Robbie Savage said " They're already on the beach in the Canaries". Pretty p*ss poor actually. Mancsaint
