In a funny way, I hope he doesn't. I want to be there when we're promoted, I don't want to watch us get promoted on the back of another teams failure - as that's what it will be billed as by Sky, and the BBC etc.

''WHU Fail, as saints go up''.

If they drop points, fantastic, I'd still take it - but I'd rather we do it ourselves, which is what we should have done yesterday!!

i hope so...could not care less if we don't play to get promotion...will all be forgotten about soon enough

Plus after 45 games played we will have had more points than west ham, if they dont win, so WE would of done enough over the season to earn promotion

Followed by

West Ham 1 - 0 Hull

Southampton 0 - 0 Coventry

That would put us up on the head to head I think.

yeah..but you could see west ham spanking hull at home..

so, if they blow it AGAIN tuesday then we can have a nice relaxing afternoon against cov.

maybe throw 1 or 2 youth team players in...and on the bench

If there's one manager you want to maintain integrity of competition and not let their team rest until the summer it's Pearson. Might not have had it all his own way at Leicester but they wont roll over for sure. Im dubious Allardyce can go there and manage his team to victory but we will see. Think we'll go up by 10pm Monday night.

I want us to go up by scoring a last minute winner against Cov, after coming back from a 3 goal deficit. Guly hatrick with assists from Fonte so I can turn round to the bloke who spends most of the game moaning about them both and tell him to shut the **** up.

Alternatively, Leicester smashing West Ham will do :)

WE WILL BE FINE

Headlines will be forgotten about before the week is out, but promotion will be remembered for much longer, especially if we maintain our Prem position should we get there. So Pearson's Leicester winning and giving us the title is perfect IMO, as that means there is no way we can screw it up. I'd take a guaranteed promotion tomorrow night over an exciting possible promotion every day of the week.

Or! Reading crowned champions, as Saints fail to win!

I think I could live with it myself, so come on Leicester.
