Looking at the situation as of now, after the Boro loss by a single goal, if West Ham win at Leicester by a single goal then they still need to get a further four against Hull to overhaul us if we DRAW against Coventry, due to us having more goals.

 

Or other variations on their goals totalling 5 more than us, against Leicester / Hull.

 

That is why I am surprised both as to why we didnt play a little more cautiously against Boro and why some on here are going into meltdown.

I wouldnt fancy sitting at St Marys next week mid way through the second half while we are drawing 0-0 whilst someone with a radio tells us that West Ham only need another goal and we are down to 3rd.

 

We have to act as if a win is the only result that will do.....cos I think it will be.
