Noodles34 Posted 22 April, 2012 Share Posted 22 April, 2012 Just so you know for next season, the date and kick off times for the last day of the season are usually set in stone when the fixture list comes out. Of all the matches to plan your life around it is the easiest as every single fixture always kicks off at the same time. oh, thanks for that, its a bit like on here, you can always guarantee there is always one p rick around, and you dont even have to plan for it, its like.... set in stone. This Charming Man Posted 23 April, 2012 Share Posted 23 April, 2012 If we're shown on TV (which I imagine we will be) and WHU win this evening, we may as well start planning for life in the NPC next season.
jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 23 April, 2012 Share Posted 23 April, 2012 having a debate with someone about the choice of games that will be televised on saturday. My theory is: West Ham win tonight then it's a no brainer us and west ham will both be on tv. Should West ham fail to win tonight I still think we will be on TV plus cardiff @ palace. In my bias opinion I think a promotion party at SMS holds more appeal than boro @ watford even for the neutrals:)
keithd Posted 23 April, 2012 Share Posted 23 April, 2012 Won the opening game of the season on tv 3-1, for a perfect symetry we'll win the last game of the season 3-1 on tv.

jamesb Posted 23 April, 2012 Share Posted 23 April, 2012 Of course it will be on TV, its the only thing in the division still open. They will be doing their "cutting between games" thing between us and Wham. Much as I hate to say it, we need to pray Wham screw up on Monday, cos we aint going to win the final head-to-head. YAWN! So so boring still going with one game to go before very very likely successive promotions! Maybe the pompey forum would be a better place for you? Lots of wrist slitting going on over there I am sure. The only person on here who is a fan but not a fan!
Window Cleaner Posted 23 April, 2012 Share Posted 23 April, 2012 Surely the games involving Cardiff and Middlesbrough have a good chance of being on TV.

We're likely to hear something tomorrow morning.
dune Posted 23 April, 2012 Share Posted 23 April, 2012 I can just picture the tv cameras zooming in on one of clowns, gimps, or tinsel wig wearers bawling their eyes out with face paint running down their face if we lose. For that reason alone i'm praying whu don't win tonight.

This Charming Man Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 is this for sure? Haven't seen it officially confirmed but Jordan Sibley and Solent seemed to think the Beeb were planning on showing it when they were tweeting last night. We've played on TV 10 times this season and we've won only 2 of them, both against Leeds. *GULP*

Window Cleaner Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 So other than the beeb will there be any live streams on the net ? of course, I've watched all of the games of late, maybe I should stop doing that as we lose every time. Just go to firstrowsports.eu, download their thingummyjig and tune in.Could be on L'Equipe at 4 though, doubt if they'll turn their programme schedule upside down to put us on live at 13.30 though, someone would get upset about not seeing club Rugby,US College basketball or Roustan and Mendes argueing about the OM. itchen_dan Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 BBC Solent Sport @solentsport #saintsfc v Coventry on saturday has been selected for live commentary on BBC television Surely this just means that you can tune in and listent to solent on the red button whilst watching the actual covered game (e.g west ham or cardiff)? Thedelldays Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 come on...it will be fine coventry at home ffs....one of the worst teams in this league with their player of the season out and many other injuries. the team that will turn up to play us will probably be worse than the team we went down out of this league with

kpturner Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 All this "OMG we are doomed if its on TV" is a load of superstitious nonsense. It makes NO DIFFERENCE whatsoever....and we will win this game. That is all.

Eastcowzer Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 In case I've missed it elsewhere, Saints v Coventry will be live on BBc 1 at 12:30 on Saturday. Presumably that means WHU will be on Sky All Championship games will kick-off at 12:
david in sweden Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 For obvious reasons you got your wish..the BBC will televise it instead..and from the forests of Sweden, I'll be glad to watch it.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 April, 2012 Share Posted 24 April, 2012 What would be really handy is if it was live on L'Equipe TV,cos if it isn't I'll be tempted to watch it on a stream and I have a very bad track record on that. In the last 4 weeks: Watched 4 Won 0 Drawn 1 Lost 3 So if there's no live real TV broadcast for me here then I think I'd better stick with Saints Player. Mind you having said that I guess all the other streamwatchers have the same dilema.
