Gemmel Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Anyone else bricking it? I'm not sure it's normal for a grown man to feel like this over football.
smackalec Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Very nervous. About the drive up, about the match and work on Monday.
gandalf Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I'm going for the Tesco "Diarrhoea Relief" capsules, same drug but a fraction of the cost!
rocknrollman no2 Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Havent thought about anything else for the last few days. Win tomorrow and its party time for the next week and going bonkers at the last home game. Lose or draw and the last home match will be very nervy!!!
Saint-Armstrong Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Not at all. Been calm all week, have some faith. The good things are worth waiting for.
Leslie Charteris Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I shall be staying in the moment, humming a certain Doris Day song - as mentioned in another thread last weekend - and then put the game to bed, learn the lessons, draw a blue line and then move on and put my focus on next weekend and see where we are after that.
doggface Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I've been bricking it since the Pompey home game to be honest.
Ziggy Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I was nervous at Peterborough but I think I'll be alright tomorrow. This might change in a few hours!
yorkie Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 You lot need to grow a pair - honestly this lot will NOT let us down! Never mind the immodium - alka seltzer is the required medication for Sunday!!!
Raging Bull Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 There's Feck all you can do, the players will want this as much if not more than any of us, it's what their paid for, relax and enjoy it they've done it before. And when they do I intend to get pi33ed!!
View From The Top Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Totally and utterly chilled after Peterborough.
Chez Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Equally calm. I've said all along we'd get promoted. Very confident of winning tomorrow. Stay Calm. Carry on up the leagues.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 All of us want it, NC, NA, squad, backroom boys, the fans. I may get shot for this but I really believe it will be sorted tomorrow.
Kingsland Red Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 The OP has hit on a new brand advertisement campaign- "Imodium - control the controllables ".
scotty Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Relaxed and 100% sure we will go up tomorrow. I hope you're right, but I'm saving this post anyway. If we dont go up, its your fault and nobody elses.
Katalinic Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I hope you're right, but I'm saving this post anyway. If we dont go up, its your fault and nobody elses. Fair enough.
S-Clarke Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I just feel relaxed about this too. I think we'll have too much for Boro tomorrow, we will want this more than them IMO.
John Boy Saint Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Surprisingly relaxed. We are 'ont Telly so guaranteed to be pants, will settle down in front of the box with a drink and see what we are dished up: hopefully the entree from the opening minutes at Peterborough.
SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Anyone else bricking it? I'm not sure it's normal for a grown man to feel like this over football. And there was me thinking, you had been on another POOPEY forum!!! lol
Lazlo78 Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I've been bricking it since the Pompey home game to be honest. Same here - until 10 minutes into the Posh game. Going from a demand of 7 points of 9 to 2 points of 6 did wonders to me
Cestrian Saint Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Very nervous. Not sure we'll do it tomorrow. Leaving things until the last minute seems to be the saints way. :-/
BadgerBadger Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I've been utterly consumed by the last 10 games and it's taking over my life like at no other time. I'm normally pretty pragmatic about watching us but that's been blown out of the water this year
Dr Who? Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 If we do not win tomorrow, which I think we will, then we will beat Cov. I am very relaxed and feel very sure we will do it. Also I am not even sure that West Ham can win 2 games in a row. They will draw on Monday. Let's face it the odds are very much on our side, even with a point from the next 2 or even losing the next 2. We will win tomorrow though, I feel very confident we will keep the title race going until the last day, and leave it all up to Reading to throw away!
Dr Who? Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I've been utterly consumed by the last 10 games and it's taking over my life like at no other time. I'm normally pretty pragmatic about watching us but that's been blown out of the water this year I have been the same, up until the win at peterbough, now I have stopped looking at tables and fixtures for the first time since Feb. from the moment I woke up until the time I was going to bed all I could think was the possible scores in the next games. Complete madness, but it has been great fun, and the last 2 seasons have been fantastic!
Dark Munster Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 The OP has hit on a new brand advertisement campaign- "Imodium - control the controllables ". Shouldn't it be "Imodium - control the uncontrollables"?
Ohio Saint Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Not bricking it any more....I just need this over with very quickly though. My patience is stretched thinner than Poopey's grasp on reality.
CB Fry Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 I am very calm, and even think two draws will do it. I think we may not win tomorrow - a rare 0-0 maybe - but I think WHU have gone. Even if they don't blow it on Monday, fine, we won't be denied against Coventry. The only thing I think probably has gone is the league title which I really don't think we can get now, I can't see Reading letting it go. But stranger things have happened.
Crazy Diamond Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Not worried at all actually, since you ask. Like Peterborough the other night, I just stayed calm and I was rewarded. Hope you all settle down soon!
