Which pub would you recommend in Southampton to watch the match?

An earlier thread was trying to establish this I think but seemed to get hijacked so all I am asking is... As a season ticket holder who is not travelling to ther Riverside but is in Southampton, which pub would people recommend to enjoy the screening and promotion tomorrow? Answers on a postcard er no here please...

Try the Osborne bottom of Shirley High Street Normally a good crowd and a very friendly traditional pub

Osborne is a good shout. It does get very busy on home match days though and can be a bit of a wait on drinks, don't know what it will be like tomorrow though.

The George in Fair Oak. Always full of saints fans, will be buzzing tomorrow. Also have a great band on at 9!

there won`t be a better venue than the saints in Millbrook to take in a good atmosphere, But take a few quid because if we win it will be a late one.

Always The Alex for me too. Ooh, I've probably 'met' some of you without realising, how very exciting.

 

NickG, try Wahoo on the high street. Normally have a pretty big projector on in there or there's a ton of screens if not.

Walkabout is now Wahoo (not sure of the spelling) but it offers the same big screen with lots of standing space as it used to. We're ditching the Alex today and going to Wahoo instead in a genius tactical decision. The Alex is a great pub but very hard to get a good view unless you blag one of the very few good tables.
