I can't be the only person on here who learnt the guitar from his 'play in a day' book. He got whole generations picking and strumming. Mind you, it took more than a day!

 

I never fell for that one...! - but acknowledge the massive impact he had on some of the greats. I'll probably go out and add the book to my collection of music books now though. RIP Bert.

EDIT: just looked on Amazon for his book for my son, and Play In a Day is rank 8 and the've sold out. Jesus..
