andymcrowe Posted 20 April, 2012 Share Posted 20 April, 2012 There's a poll taking place for the best goal in 20 seasons of the Premier League. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/features/20-seasons-awards-best-goal/ and MLT is the only player with two goals in the shortlist of ten. Isn't that fantastic? Anyway, this is just to get those votes in for Matt - but which of his two is the best? Newcastle was sublime skill while Blackburn was skill and power against England's Number One. Forget the rest!

Nutwood2 Posted 20 April, 2012 Share Posted 20 April, 2012 There's only one choice. Matt's goal v Newcastle was totally sublime. All the others required one or maybe two pieces of above average skill. Matt's goal required, not only touch after touch, but the cool head to finally stroke it into the net. If any other goal wins this I'll stop drinking for a month!
Mattio Posted 20 April, 2012 Share Posted 20 April, 2012 The Cantona one is good too, but voted for matt obviously
Ohio Saint Posted 20 April, 2012 Share Posted 20 April, 2012 I was going to vote for Matty's 1st anyway, but after watching the rest I could still vote for it without any bias neccessary.
Gemmel Posted 20 April, 2012 Share Posted 20 April, 2012 The goal against Blackburn is the best ever Premiership goal, but it wont win.
