the wedge Posted 9 November, 2008 Share Posted 9 November, 2008 It will cost you more than the standard 10p. I know Orange charge 20p so it'll be around that amount. In my opinion the best thing to do is buy a sim card designed for exactly that. One such company is lebara mobile. (http://www.lebara-mobile.co.uk) All texts are 10p, and calls to NZ are 13p to a mobile and 4p to a landline (per min) Not a lebara salemsan, just used to work for a mobile phone company in my gap year. It's pay as you go, just like any other network, just designed for calls/texts abroad. Just pop the sim card in your phone. You get given a different number, but it'll save you money. You can buy them in Phones4u and Woolies, and can top them up pretty much anywhere. Hope this helps slightly!
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 9 November, 2008 Share Posted 9 November, 2008 If you'd rather call him, try using these people. 2p a minute to New Zealand from a mobile. If you want to send texts, you can do it free from your PC with this lot.
