Do they still do them for Premier League teams?

Will I be able to get a full Saints set next season and do they still do shiny club badges ?

( although I did like the cottony material effect ones that I seem

to remember they did one year)

I quite fancy the idea of our back four stuck to my lap top cover.

They did NPC ones this season as I've got a full set at work.

I have got every sticker album from 1978 to 2012 from the old 1st Division right through to the Premier League. From Panini to Merlin, to Topps - I am really excited and can't wait for next season to have Southampton back in the Premier League and part of my ever growing collection.

Just thought I would also mention that I have a Panini Copa America 2011 complete album which also features Japan as a guest nation with a certain Tadanari Lee in the squad.....

M

erlin (now part of topps the US trading card guys) have done it since 94.

I had every album full till we got relegated.

Looking forward to it again (fingers crossed).

Also, if you send in a picture of yourself in your Saints shirt - they can personalise a sticker for you.

Has anyone sent their pix in? Does it actually look any good?

In my teens I did a paper round and while in the storeroom I may have borrowed a who box of football stickers, but still did not fill the book. Used to love the smell of them.

This is what returning to the premier league is all about, oh and the extra few million!

Nearly there!

Started doing the Euro 2012 one the other day as I went into work and we were giving the books out for free! Recapturing my youth. May well end up doing the Prem set if we go up.

I remember collecting the stickers one year, and when Tahar El Khalej transferred to Villa I crossed out his face and wrote JUDAS all over his little section of the book. I was an odd child.

Are you trying to suggest they all look the same super dooper Mikey?

Yes, that's exactly what i'm trying to say.

We had 2 players of Arabic descent playing for us at about the same time, I just got them mixed up. Honestly, how many have we had? The only ones I can think of are El Khalej, Kachloul and Safri from a few years ago

Proper Panini stickers in the 1970's had backgrounds from the 1950's (1850's sepia, in Newcastle's Case) with an obviously cut out action or mug shot plastered over it, and coloured in with bloc poster paint of the relevant teams colours to cover up the strip they were wearing when photographed.

Ok, no transfer window or photoshop in those days, but even as a kid I was troubled by this.
