Shroppie Posted 19 April, 2012 Share Posted 19 April, 2012 (edited) May 2015 (Actually if you go by published odds it's most likely to be Monday, since the odds say we're more likely to D/L this Sat than to win, but next most likely is last day, if it happens. Please stop these threads!) Edited 19 April, 2012 by Shroppie
keithd Posted 19 April, 2012 Share Posted 19 April, 2012 i dont know. and dont like this. we can easily lose saturday and the following saturday pretty much as easily as we could win both. my chickens arent being counted

scotty Posted 19 April, 2012 Share Posted 19 April, 2012 We're already up. West Ham won't win their last two games. They might. Especially if they somehow manage a win at leicester, which is unlikely but not impossible. It could still go to the cov game, but for the sake of my blood pressure I f*cking hope it doesnt. On those odds the combined probability of us drawing or losing is slightly more than probability of winning. So it's Monday or the next Saturday, if at all. Aardvark Posted 19 April, 2012 Share Posted 19 April, 2012 Hmmm - that actually would mean that we're more likely not to win than win - as the man said. Foot and shot come to mind.

We're already up. West Ham won't win their last two games. no we are not. If results go badly against us at the weekend (as they did the other week) it could mean that there is alot to play for on the final day for us, wham & coventry. we are in a good position, almost there but not quite. We should go up, but were not there already.

Do you honestly believe that Nigel hasn't believed that we've done more than enough to be promoted for a fair while now? He may say one game at a time etc etc etc but I bet he knows we're already in the PL.That's why he's talking about one of his players becoming one of the best midfielders in that division. Fan The Flames Posted 19 April, 2012 Author Share Posted 19 April, 2012 Come on people there are only 2 games left and we are 5 points clear, the only team that can catch us have only amassed 24 points out of the last 45 available. We are the highest scoring side and we play a team with the lowest home scoring rate and another with the lowest away scoring rate. It's may not be certain but there is a very big chance we will go up.

Alain Perrin Posted 19 April, 2012 Share Posted 19 April, 2012 Nothing is certain except the fact we won't finish 17th. For me West Ham playing on Monday is all upside for them. If we win, then they concentrate on the playoffs, if we lose, game on.
Maggie May Posted 22 April, 2012 Share Posted 22 April, 2012 Chill out. It's in the bag. Cabrone Posted 22 April, 2012 Share Posted 22 April, 2012 Love how Cov are being magically transformed into some kind of championship force, even after they have been relegated. The reality is that they are complete gash and if we do a professional job we will beat them and we will go up. Even if Cov somehow managed to grab their 1% chance of an upset and Wham somehow managed to get above us we'd still be in the playoffs and if that failed we'd just have to have another cracking season in the champ. More interested now about who we are going to sign and how we are going to do in the prem.
