70's Mike Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 as long as all those moaning about the support are going we should sell out
sotonjoe Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 as long as all those moaning about the support are going we should sell out Very true Mike.
Appy Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 So now you DON'T want us to take more supporters because they're not the right kind of supporter? Brilliant. If they are anything like you i don't want them anywhere near the Riverside.
70's Mike Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 funny how during the 70's when there was a lot of trouble during the week between gangs from different areas of the city but on a Saturday we were one as Saints fans, none of the bs spouted on here about wrong clothes, wrong songs etc grow up and get behind the boys on the pitch tomorrow , no such thing as a better away fan ALL SAINTS TOGETHER
Tomobz Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 This thread has reminded me why I don't regularly view this forum anymore
wagon 84 Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 3,000 is a joke. Our support is completely embarrassing. Would boro sell there allocation if the rolls were reversed? .... I think they would personally. This is going to be embarrassing on the box!
Griffo Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 Would boro sell there allocation if the rolls were reversed? .... I think they would personally. This is going to be embarrassing on the box! To be fair we'd only give them 3,200. Regardless though, I thought if we even had a sniff of promotion come this game we'd sell it out.

Not really,it's a long long way and most people,no matter how motivated they are to go, just don't have hoardes of cash stuffed down the back of the sofa to finance their every whim.
Fan The Flames Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 What a bunch of *****s we have on this site.
LGTL Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 What a bunch of *****s we have on this site. I know, shame on them for not going!

Glasgow_Saint Posted 20 April, 2012 Author Posted 20 April, 2012 Would boro sell there allocation if the rolls were reversed? .... I think they would personally. This is going to be embarrassing on the box! I think Boro would have sold out, i think the sk8s would even have sold out!! (in same circumstances!) Somewhere between 2,700 and 3,200 for our biggest game in years.......Poor show by our fans, really really poor!

saintscottofthenortham Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 My skate mate at work, when I told him we are taking 3,000 up there tomorrow for a 5:20pm kick off, at TE other end of the country he said... "f*****g hell! Good effort!"

They have chance of a play off place tomorrow & only have sold 15k!!
ericofarabia Posted 21 April, 2012 Posted 21 April, 2012 F**k off Boro would have sold out. They have chance of a play off place tomorrow & only have sold 15k!! Of course they would have sold out their allocation down here - the chance to breathe some Fresh Air On The Costa Del South would have seemed like a sumer holiday to them!!

Somewhere between 2,700 and 3,200 for our biggest game in years.......Poor show by our fans, really really poor! Not really the extra tickets came much to late for people to plan such a long trip at the last minute. I'm sure those going will make a lot of noise and inspire the boys to the win we need. Stop worrying about it. As for Boro I don't think so...
sotonjoe Posted 21 April, 2012 Posted 21 April, 2012 If they are anything like you i don't want them anywhere near the Riverside. Proves my point.

(not THE) Kevin Moore Posted 21 April, 2012 Posted 21 April, 2012 Reading this thread it does seem like the pubs in Southampton will be free of sanctimonious uber fans.... So that's good news for us 'not proper fans' we can watch the game without fear of feeling inferior!
OldNick Posted 21 April, 2012 Posted 21 April, 2012 after the cost and time taken from work by a lot of people for the Peter Boro game, im not surprised that some again cannot go on another expensive day out. i suspect a lot of the critics are single and live at home fans, not with famillies to feed and support

Delboy Dave Posted 21 April, 2012 Posted 21 April, 2012 Well I'm stood in the que waiting to buy a ticket.. Anyone know where they are???
John Boy Saint Posted 21 April, 2012 Posted 21 April, 2012 I would have love to have gone, and thought a small window of opportunity had opened when my Mum phone to say that they will be ready to be picked up from the Queen Victoria in Southampton today at 10:30, not 15:45 as originally typed up. In their 70s and returning from their Golden Wedding anniversary cruise, something had to give. Sadly this trip was it! But this new time had the cogs whirring, by the time I had dropped them off north of Basingstoke putting in The Riverside Stadium into the sat nav had my ETA 5:35pm that was making no allowances for traffic hold ups etc. Realistically the moment was gone, so traipsed home: bottom lip out, snotty nose, scuffing my shoes as I went (if you can do such a thing driving in a car ). C'est la vie. Well done to the folks who have made the trek north, I hope they have the same good time we had at Peterborough on Tuesday. COYRs
