I take it there will be tickets on the gate. Was never intending to go, being married with mortgage, kids etc etc. However, long involved story, but Saturday morning I may have to be in Leeds. Which is only about 65 miles away. If I do its just a short trip to Boro. Wont know till later today, so will be bit of last minute thing.

Frankly if we take 3000 to 3500 supporters to Borro it shows how well the Club is supported. Fair play to everyone going, I wish I was going, but having done the Palace and Peterborough plus 9 other away games this season its a little hard to justify.............

See you circa 21.30 this evening in The Stone Roses Bar.

Im "working from home" fella. Hungover, up in Chelsea last night. Juan Mata was in the same bar as us. He wanted to have his picture taken with me and put it on facebook but he didn't want to disturb me. Be heading northh at 5.
Good lads, see you up there.

Boro only sold 15,000 tickets. For last game of season with an outside chance of making playoffs is pathetic

for a club who are supposed to big a "big club" their home gates this season are shameful.Seem to average about 17500.

Perhaps there's no money about in those parts these days, perhaps Newcastle and Sunderland have nicked all their 'Boro till I die" fans.Mind you it's a sh*t side compared to their recent past.

Strachan destroyed them good and proper with his dinosaur tactics in a modern age.

Last of my three posts of the day. Was only going to Boro if I HAD to go to Leeds saturday morning due to the expense. Well I didn't HAVE to go to Leeds in the end.

However Mrs LS said that we would be going to Boro after all, we would treat it as our wedding anniversary present to each other. Now I know why I married her. Our actual anniversary is 28th the date of the Coventry match. Am I going to get 2 memorable footy related presents, I hope so.

Our biggest away game in years is a little hard to justify?

I am fat, middle aged and quite like sitting down at football. I enjoy a few pints mixing with the locals and go to about 10 away games a season. Had there been nothing on this game, I wouldn't have gone. But worked out when the tickets first went on sale that this could well be the one, wanted my older boys and nipper to be there, so we're going. Is this allowed?

I can't work out whether I am a plastic, an elderly person a middle-aged drip, or a laddish fan. I preferred it in the pre internet days, when I was just a Southampton supporter. But like i phones, Twitter , Facebook, and other modern things, working out what category of fan I am confusses me.............

ahh ok that maybe true - but why would they do that? the guy suggested that he was reading from his PC and he said approximately 800 unsold and will be returned for sale on the day.

I was told exactly the same thing yesterday by someone who said 500 left, it really could be anything as they don't know their arse from their elbow.

I phoned their TO this morning, and I was told that there will be 1000 away tkts available from the away tkt office from 2.30, cash only.

Putting something and something together to make something else .... the away section for this game is 4000, we took 3000 tkts at SMS and have sold most of those, tomorrow they will be selling new blocks.

Walk up of 200-300 perhaps?

Away section will be comfortably full without being rammed .... just right, less beer and food and loo queues for those that can be bothered to get there.

Boro have now sold 18,025 tickets for the Southampton game (inc 2,765 visitors). Buy online here... http://ow.ly/apbrr #boropride #UTB

Maybe they're as crap at maths as our lot are...and they've just made up a number!

But if Boro did hold back a thousand tickets and the SMS T.O. only had 3,000 on sale then reports of around "300" left yesterday were probably right.

Still, we'll see tomorrow.

I think it's pretty good to be fair.

How is it?

We took 4500 to Reading for a sat on on sky . Which proves its totally down to distance people not going.

Possibility of promotion back to the Premiership after 7 years absence why wouldn't anyone want to be there.

I'm inconveniencing myself financially to go as are many others I'm sure.

3000 is p*ss poor

You've just answered your own question as to why we're not all going.

This club has had five games over the last three weeks, tomorrow will be the sixth. We've had two home sellout crowds, a couple of thousand at Blackpool (which was televised), nearly 6k at Palace and over 3000 at Peterborough. All that over Easter when the 'Dads' amongst us (not me) will have had kids at home who need entertaining (money) at what not. We've also already sold out our final home game of the season. We'll end up having 3k fans at tomorrow's game which is also on TV and I think that's impressive in the context of the last few weeks. You can stamp your feet about it, but you're not going to change it, so just concentrate on going and enjoying your trip.

People saying embarrassing are taking it a bit far, but it is a shame.

Although at least there won't be too many day trippers like at Palace.

So now you DON'T want us to take more supporters because they're not the right kind of supporter? Brilliant.
