We're being encouraged by who? And if you want to dig out your Cup Final top then do so, but not because you've read an article in the Echo telling you to do so!

Don't know who Echo are quoting? I am happy to help create a party atmosphere and a positive spectacle, irrespective of whether of it is an article posted by the Daily Echo or even because my Gran thinks it will look good.

Which no doubt explains this thread http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?37242-Mega-Store-Taking-the-****.

3 games left and they still want over £40 for an away shirt that won't be worn next season. I asked if they're likely to be reduced and the lad sighed and said, 'I wish people would stop asking me this'. I replied 'Well what do you expect, people are asking you because you've done it in the past and there's only 2 away games left, times are hard and people want value for money.' His response, 'Well you've got no chance, so forget it'. Nice customer service. :?

I'll be taking my 12 by 6 flag, as will my friend. Hopefully a good flag turn-out..

Last away game of the season, shouldn't it be fancy dress?

I've got this Captain America outfit that I've been dying to wear.

It is indeed. The theme is normal people. Most of our fan base will struggle with this one I fear.

Once again you ask the impossible Turkish. What normal people are going to travel 6 hours (probably in the rain) to a grubby northern town that even Newcastle looks down on, to watch a group of highly paid men they have never met kick a ball around for 90 minutes. All the while living in fear that they might sing the wrong song, at the wrong time and be ridiculed on an Internet forum they pay for the privilege to use?

Let's face it, non of us are normal. Normal at my age is walking round Ikea with the wife and then going for an over priced coffee, all the while comparing said over priced coffee with different shops over priced coffee. I'd rather die than do that.

Do you mean the real fans are normal or the real fans are going? If it is the real fans are going then it misses the point. That being that 'normal' people don't do what us football fans do i.e travel up and down the country in all weather. 'Normal' people watch Xfactor and follow their wife round large department stores.

I've met a few of them.

I consider myself normal, and can't think of much better than trekking up to Middlesbrough(Newcastle) for a weekend on the beer with the lads. It's going to be good FUN

Why do people quote the first paragraph and not the second to support their comment?

When they are both together you will see my comment wasnt criticising anyone for not being normal. It was a tongue in cheek response to turkish who said fans should go in fancy dress as a normal person.

What a bunch of weirdos.
